“Usually, Bistro Napa is a 4.5-5-star experience. This last meal was less than ideal. Our sever, Joe, was very inattentive. We were seated and it took several minutes for him to even give us menus. Then it several more minutes for our orders to be taken. When our main courses arrived, only one was hot. It seemed as if our food had been sitting out for a while before being picked up for our table. We were not checked on during the course of our evening. All of us had neen finished with our meals for quite a while and we had to call our server order so that we could order desserts and get our check. Our server's assistant was the only one paid any sort of attention. If it had been super busy, we would have understood a bit more, but it wasn't that busy. We also noticed the table near us had been unoccupied since we arrived and not once was the table cleared. We have dined at Bistro Napa many, many times and this experience left a sour taste in all our mouths. Hopefully our next dinner will be up to standard.“

She's not just beautiful, but very intelligent and professional. Danika and I become good friends, and I hope to see her again very soon when I go back. “Visiting Land Ocean for my very first time for my "birthday brunch", it was beyond what I expected. Being at the Summit Mall in Reno, NV. Walking into the restaurant and it was a very top notch vibe. We were greeted right away and sat down as we had reservations. The place was just amazing. The service from the staff to how everything was designed in the restaurant. Loved it! I went ahead and had to celebrate my birthday with the bottomless Mimosas and the Land Ocean Benedict. Perfect combination for brunch I must say. The Beef Benedict was just so tender and delicious. The Crab Cake Benedict was fresh and juicy; loved every single bit of my meal. Hands down, by far the best place for brunch in my opinion. I highly recommend Land Ocean for any occasion. Can not wait to come back! Thank you,“

“This is pretty much our favorite place to go in Reno. We love the Cajun Chicken sandwich or a burger for lunch. Always hard to decide between the homemade french fries or chips, however the Italian dressing for the salad choice is always delicious. We love the chicken noodle soup and the beef vegetable soup (I may have those names slightly off). In the evenings, we love the prime rib. The warmed sour dough bread is delicious, so is the side of beans. Prime rib is always perfectly cooked as ordered. Huge ice teas are always on point and refilled quickly. Staff is so friendly. Even during construction, we can easily find a space to park out front, in the back or on the side.“

“If you want anyone to serve you at this location of Ramsey’s Kitchen, it has to be Brandon! He is very knowledgeable, very passionate about the food and drinks, especially drinks! He is personable, easy to converse with. He made my cousins graduation celebration very enjoyable. Food was amazing, the ambience was just right. Appropriate for both family or couples!

“I have literally only had breakfast here but absolutely love the pancakes they are big, thick and fluffy. The triple threat is awesome if that's to much the pancakes sandwich is close and a tad smaller and is not an actual sandwich is great. The biscuits and gravy are good would be better if the biscuits weren't so dense but all in good .I haven't tried anything else but definitely will when I get an opportunity .“

“Angel, the bartender, was absolutely incredible! Despite the overwhelming crowd during Hot August Nights, she remained attentive, kind, and sincerely apologetic to every guest. It was clear the café was understaffed for the influx of customers, yet Angel handled the pressure with grace and a smile. She stayed calm and organized in the chaos, never placing blame on her team or management.

At one point, a customer became upset, and Angel addressed the situation with a level of professionalism and empathy that’s rare to see in such a fast-paced role. She’s a true asset to your team—please thank her again on our behalf. She deserves recognition, a raise, and a promotion!

Also, a big shoutout to Kim, the busser, who was clearly juggling a lot but still made the effort to help out wherever she could. As a business leader myself, I recognize strong team members when I see them—and they’re a reflection of great leadership. Kudos to your whole team! Please consider allocating more budget for extra staff during busy events like this.
