“I previously visited this restaurant at their old location with my daughter and had an amazing experience — the food, service, and atmosphere were all fantastic. Because of that, I was excited to try their new, larger location for happy hour with a friend. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing this time. When we arrived, we both stood at the entrance for several minutes while multiple staff members looked at us but didn’t acknowledge us or explain whether we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Eventually someone directed us to a table. We ordered wine and everything seemed fine at first, but our server quickly became unavailable and never checked back in. When our food was delivered by another employee, it was dropped off without utensils or napkins. Happy hour ended at 5:00, and instead of checking on us before then, our server returned afterwards and told us happy hour was over and brought new menus. After finishing our food, we sat with empty glasses and dirty plates while multiple staff walked by without clearing the table or checking on us. After about 10 minutes of waiting with no service, we ended up walking to the bar to pay our bill because no one ever brought it to the table. This was frustrating, especially for a restaurant that presents itself as a higher-end dining experience. I know they’re capable of better based on my previous visit, so hopefully the service improves.“

“​Had a lovely dinner with my fiancé. The menu was outstanding! The mushroom soup was creamy, warm, and with earthy undertones. Meanwhile the Caesar was bursting with flavor, and the octopus salad kept things vibrant, citrus and crunchy fresh! The pasta dishes (lasagna and ravioli) were definitely hand made and with balanced flavors. Ending with the olive oil cake was the cherry on top. Each dish created was a master piece in its own right!“

“Came here as a solo vegetarian. I did not try to find vegan at this restaurant, but I suspect it would be hard. Ovolacto has at least two solid options though. I had the mushroom parparadelle preceded by a Ceaser salad and bread basket. Bread is not free, but it is a large basket with a good selection and comes with oil and vinegar. All of the food was heavy. They like their cream and Parmesan! The salad was bigger than a side. It was good and had crispy romaine with a creamy sauce and thick shaved Parmesan. The parparadelle had a good selection of mushrooms and long thick noodles that had to be cut. It was heavy and salty. There was a good mix of mushrooms. All portions were large. Salad, bread and a main were too much for me and I'm a decent sized guy. If I was with my wife we could have split a salad, side and entree and been full. Overall I'd say it was an interesting fusion of fine dining and comfort food. I will say the staff is very friendly. I felt well taken care of. The decor is fun: a rotating statue, columns that turn into genuine torches, and a ceiling that has lights on the pattern of the stars. Hot towel and white chocolate truffles at the end was a nice touch. I spent about $60 before tip. Not bad for a casino restaurant.“

“Beautiful place, love the concept and the atmosphere. Had multiple drinks throughout the dinner, which were all delicious. Started with a caprese salad to share, and for $16... Really small. We also ordered the fried seafood which was delicious and a reasonable amount for the cost.

For the mains we had the shrimp and scallop spaghetti special, which was reasonable. The shrimp and scallops were cooked beautifully, but the pasta was lackluster. Seemed really dry like the pasta was made and was sitting (maybe under a heat lamp) waiting for the shrimp and scallops to be added. Almost seemed like microwaved leftover pasta with oil drizzled on top. The other pasta we ordered was the tagliatelle ragu which was better than the special. Softer noodles, with a great sauce.

Overall glad we went here. Will definitely give them another shot, and maybe not order a pasta next time. If they wanted to step up their game, make the pasta in-house.“

“My husband and I went to dinner at Mario's Portofino as a spontaneous outing. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We were greeted by the owner, the staff was unbelievably welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious. It was definitely a night to remember. We will be going back as often as possible. “Last night I visited Bella Italia and enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Their menu is extensive and for my entree I chose their manicotti. It is stuffed with ricotta and spinach and served with a generous topping of cream sauce.

I also selected their insalata della casa (house salad) which was light and tasty and perfectly seasoned with their own homemade oil and lemon dressing. The salad was embellished with nice wedges of mozzarella crowned with a slice of ham.

I asked Chef Jose for a wine suggestion and he picked Monteverro di Vermentino, a delicious white from the vineyards of Tuscany. It was a perfect match.

grilled/seared salmon. Salmon was cooked great. Salad on the other hand, was not good. Mushrooms were old and like an hour away from having to be thrown away. They threw a ton in just to get rid of them and lettuce was wilting. Not fresh at all. Our waitress wasn't a happy camper either. Her voice was raspy, so not sure she had a cold or was coming down with one. Didn't want to deal with her and go through the trouble. But again salmon was cooked perfectly.“
