About Virginia Street Brewhouse

Virginia Street Brewhouse is a restaurant and music venue that hosts local DJs and national acts. The venue features a decent-sized stage and a sound system that delivers clear sound, although some guests have noted that the audio may not be loud enough in certain areas. The experience is described as both intimate and exciting, making it a cool place for shows.

The restaurant has a bar, but some staff members have been accused of providing poor service, with a few appearing uninterested in their work. While staff can be friendly, there have been mixed reviews about the overall service. The restrooms are generally clean, but they still need improvement.

The venue can become crowded, making it difficult to see the stage for those who are not tall. The bathrooms usually remain clean, but accessing the bar can be a challenge due to the crowds.

The alley leading to the entrance may feel confusing and sketchy at night. Additionally, the restaurant does not run the air conditioning during shows in the summer, which could be a deal-breaker for some customers.

In summary, Virginia Street Brewhouse offers a decent dive-style venue with an appealing atmosphere and a sound system that could use some upgrades. While the experience can be enjoyable, there are areas in need of improvement, particularly in service and sound quality.

It was on this very site that tailor Jacob Davis partnered with Levi Strauss to invent and manufacture the world’s very first pair of riveted denim blue jeans. Look closely at the upper level walls to see the literal walls of jeans paying homage to this piece of industrial...read full review
I loved the concert, and they did bring us in and we won some prizes, but then they tried to say I missed the meet and greet with Berner, I was literally wearing the prize, I won at 6:30pm, if the meet and greet was 6-7 I'm still wondering if they just thought I was stupid, again wearing the prize smell proof cookies bag around my neck, 90 bucks for the meet and greet, and I'm feeling burned, get it! Burned! I was given a poster to shut me up, and promised a book he just wrote...read full review
