Yuzu Sushi & Bar is a welcome addition to downtown Reno, offering quality over quantity in a modern and stylish interior. The restaurant was still in its soft opening phase, so some menu items were not available, but this did not take away from the experience. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the rolls and appetizers are inventive. The sushi is possibly the best in Reno, with many noting it is the best they have had. The nigiri and rolls are delicious, and the special Zapdos nigiri had an incredible char. The wasabi and sushi are tasty and fresh. The service is great and helpful, with staff who are passionate and eager to explain everything in great detail, including the very good cocktails. The location was not a favorite, and the inside looks like it was still coming together, but the food is top notch. A bit expensive and not all you can eat, but definitely worth it.
