The owner Ron is super nice and welcoming. It felt like we had known Ron for years, we got to share stories, and enjoy a perfectly poured Guinness.

The choice on whiskey is lovely, but we stuck to Powers.
Cody is a superb bartender! You will never have an empty glass in this watering hole.
Overall this was a wonderful experience, and we’ll be returning as much as possible.

I'll end by saying if you're looking for a place to go and you're a long way from home, like I was from Ohio, don't hesitate to go here. “Good place with a nice vibe—yeah, it’s a little loud, but still great for having a conversation. Now, about the burger: the meat was delicious with a really nice smoky flavor. The veggies were super fresh, and the bacon was great and came in big strips. The portions are generous, so trust me, you won’t leave hungry.

They don’t offer regular fries, just tots and a few other sides. I tried the tots and they weren’t bad at all, just not my personal favorite. Service was quick and everyone was really friendly—we didn’t wait more than 15 minutes.

“10 out of 10!! I frequent this bar often and have always had a nice time. This most recent time someone came up to me and started to make me feel uncomfortable while i was trying to order drinks. My body language was very apparent that I was not interested and was feeling uncomfortable. The bar tender stepped in so fast and shut that down. The bar tender took over the conversation and let this man know he was not being respectful and he needed to walk away. When the guy verbally fought back, the bar tender got security and got him out of there. I am beyond grateful to have a place in Reno where the staff made it a priority to make me feel safe. “I recently moved to Reno and am quite surprised that there aren't a lot more restaurants or bars with views of the river and/or mountains. There's only a very small handful of places downtown you can actually see the river from for example and it's completely ludicrous to me that 50 S Virginia St on the River (North of Pioneer Center) they put a parking lot between the building and the river.

But I digress, I managed to find this gem of a place with a rooftop bar. You can't see the river of course but it has a nice view of the surrounding neighborhood and Downtown area. Bartender was very friendly, made great drinks. It was uncrowded on a Saturday night at 7 as most people apparently come for the DJ later. So if you want a laid back atmosphere, you can hang out in the early evening and if you want some night life you can come later.

They do not have food so bring take-out from your favorite restaurant if you want to eat. If they at least had small bar food menu with some good bar food I'd give it 5 stars but the lack of food and the view being nice but not spectacular, this is a solid high 4 stars.“

“This is a great midtown bar with tons of charm, a very cool vibe and a ton of fun to drink at especially with a group of friends. Service is friendly and they have tons of beers and liquor to choose from and even a few that are hard to come by anywhere including brews like Pliny the Elder. Gaming is available at the bar but they also have a pool table and tons of seating outside in the patio and it's where my friends and I prefer to chill on a warm summer day. While there isn't a ton of parking in the lot behind the establishment, there is street parking available and plenty more across the street. Of course, there are tons of places to dine at and within a short walk in just about any direction.
