This is the best eatery in the capital region. Who would guess that a food court eatery can create such delicious food. I give this place 5 stars for taste, aroma and plating. I know that the food is placed in a tin but the placement is pleasing to the eyes.Vegetarian options: You can purchase all ground food.Kid-friendliness: Any child that loves Caribbean roots will enjoy the food and exotic drinks from M G Cafe.
I went on a trip to the mall with my best friend and we have very different tastes when it comes to food. After eyeing up my options, I noticed MG Cafe in the corner with the Guyana flag.They have a lunch menu that’s about $10 and I believe it’s discounted for mall employees. There are also daily specials, and I was fortunate enough to catch the oxtail. It was about $18 and came with rice & beans and cucumber.Their oxtail was genuinely some of the best I’ve had in the area....read full review

After a long day of shopping on Christmas Eve I came to MG Cafe to get a rice and peas meal with jerk chicken and an order of chow mein. The food was really really nice and the portions was filling.Great customer service and Great food what more do want from a mall food court, pepper sauce was one of the best. All the food really brought me back home. Really recommend the place. 10/10
