If you are in Albany and don’t come here for dinner, you are missing out. The food here is phenomenal and the atmosphere is dope and the staff is so friendly.
The Cuckoo's Nest offers a delightful southern brunch, perfect for celebrating special occasions. The Dad dish is a must-try, along with the fried green tomatoes and tater tots. Their bourbon bacon bloody Mary is exceptional. With street parking available, it's worth trying multiple items on the menu, such as the shrimp and grits with turkey sausage and a side of amazing biscuits. Opt for the chicken and waffles or shrimp and grits, but remember to request no tail on the shrimp. A visit to this restaurant is highly recommended.
