“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“GrillMak has been a favorite spot of mine for probably almost 10 years now. My go-to's are their sticks - Filet Mignon, my favorite, but their chicken and pork sticks are delicious as well. Occasionally, I will go with the filet mignon gyro when needing a more complete meal. Their sweet potato French fries are a nice side to any meal. There is plenty of dining seating indoors and some outdoors during the summer. You will find plenty of parking here as well.

“Since moving to Va from NY, I always have made a stop to pick up bagels for the way home. This is by far my favorite place! I order the day before and my bagels are fresh warm and packed in freezer bags ready to go. They freeze great and toast up fresh! And always get my favorite salt bagel with veggie cream cheese to go! I love their veggie cream cheese because the veggies are not shredded. My granddaughter loves the iced coffee, it’s amazing! The place is clean and the staff are personable and quick in getting your order ready. I’m on the train now heading home eating now. Until December ...“

“Dined here about a couple months ago and enjoyed the delicious food and good service. There's an entrance to the restaurant from the front exterior of the mall (near the parking lot) and another entrance just a few steps inside of the Broadway Mall. Restaurant was very clean, bright, and spacious; has a very good dining atmosphere and décor. Restaurant was quiet when dined here for lunch. Waiter was attentive and courteous. We had the kinya ramen combos with takoyaki and shrimp tempura. The ramen broth was rich and a little creamy, noodles were great, pork was delicious, but the ramen egg had a very strong chemical taste, like it was possibly over-marinated. I love the complimentary prawn chips; it's a wonderful childhood nostalgia snack. Overall, the food was satisfying, delicious, and very filling.“

“We had the most incredible experience at Pietro’s of East Meadow — again! This was our second time celebrating our daughter’s birthday here, and it somehow keeps getting better every time. A huge shoutout to Oscar and the team there today, who were beyond helpful and so attentive. Oscar made everything feel effortless and was so intuitive — taking care of things before I even had to ask. That kind of service is rare and so appreciated. “All vegan except for fish, which is kept on a separate steam table. The food is all pre-made and kept hot on a steam table, so service is quick. The service is extremely friendly, and the workers are happy to explain the dishes to you. They are also knowledgeable about what is soy-free/spicy/etc. The medium plate was $16.50 and the food is so good that you will think about the meal months later. It was worth every penny. I cannot wait to go back!“

“Wow! I must have sounded like a broken record last night, as I repeatedly said wow and for all the right reasons. From start to finish, this place was top notch! I had the pork chop and the first bite was all I needed to know I’d be back. It was outrageously good. Great food is one thing but the vibe, atmosphere and outstanding service is what makes this place worthy of a visit! “Here’s the thing—Season Bistro is the best restaurant in Long Island. I know how big a statement that is. Go eat there and tell me I’m wrong though. By the soda fridge and then I was done eating lunch and I had cooled off enough to get back to my work and finish for the day and then I went home with my full belly And complete satisfaction with my lunch and what I ate. “My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“
