“The place was packed when we were there but the pizzas were still served quickly. It's apparently not an old "dive bar" like you'd think but it's made to look and feel like one. Bring a Sharpie or two with you because they encourage you to leave your mark on the tables, walls or ceiling. Try the white pizza, which comes with a generous amount of ricotta and soft, caramelized onions.“

“This place was absolutely amazing, the bartender as well as owner, Danny, not only served us these amazingly crafted drinks he also told us the logic or the story or the background of the drink. This gave the drinks a whole new experience and it felt great. Along side this and the kind and helpful staff the food was amazing too. The salmon and the filet mignon was wonderful. At a perfect medium rare, the meat was so tender and juicy. The Mac and cheese I also recommend as an appetizer as it was nice and cheesy but also crispy on the top. And the deserts on top of that were wonderful, the lava cake melts down and the crashing of the heated fudge going against the cold ice cream gives it a flavor of its own. Every plate was beautifully decorated as well as the drinks. Not only did I have a great meal but I also learned a lot too.“

“Clam Bar is so busy that we had to come back the next day early to give it a try. It's out with the hype? Absolutely! Not fancy and you feel like you're at the beach, but the seafood choices and service is very good. There are so many choices that I would advise coming multiple times to do the menu justice, but we did enjoy the fried choices by going with fried tuna bites, fried clam strips, and fried onion rings. The only exception was the Manhattan clam chowder. Parking is very challenging so I would recommend going early or going later otherwise the crowd is crazy. Def worth a trip.“

“Why give a small roadside restaurant in Eastern Long Island five stars for lunch? The Food! And, The Fable.Somewhere deep in the wilds off Montauk Highway sitting in a clearing where Gatsby meets Talent lies a small fish house. Here, The Fishermen prepare fresh entrees for The Hungry. It’s really good! Thus, when Your Spirit yearns to see where convertible Porsche’s, Botox and the Eastern sea shore summer elite converge for mealtime, drive two or three hours and eat here. The fish is fresh, the vegetables are local and the one per cent puts their pants on one leg at a time just like us.I loved eating here!“
