“Excellent, high quality wines served in an intimate atmosphere. In addition to simply enjoying the wine (and buying a couple of cases), we appreciated their focus on environmental stewardship and the ethical treatment of their cattle. If you are a meat-eater who also cares about animal well-being, buy your beef here.“
“Love this place! I’ve been many times and the wine is always good. They’re open later than most wineries and I love having the option to make your own charcuterie board. Off the beaten path but inside or outside is nice and quiet. Highly recommend!“
“Bedell makes wines sustainably and has a scenic outdoor tasting space. Their tasting flight was $25/$30, and we thought their wines were good but did not find one extraordinary enough to purchase a bottle of. Also, we did not have a great tasting experience either. This was the first Long Island winery we visited and we were hoping to learn about Long Island wines during our visit but the guy pouring our wine didn't really want to talk. We each got a flight, the pre-selected one and a build your own. Instead of pouring one wine at a time, the guy rushed pouring both flights, in no order, then got confused on which was which, then directed us to carry our four glasses (without a holder) outside so by the time we got outside we really had no clue which wines were which. They also didn't give us menus so we had to pull up both the menu and tasting notes on our phones to try and guess which wine we were tasting. However the scenic view outside overlooking the vineyard was pleasant.“
“This is one of my favorite vineyards on the island. We discovered this place through my husbands Riverhead family hometown and it has become a quarterly addition to when we visit the family. We came here for a wine tasting and were introduced to the wine club and we haven’t regretted it. The team at Macari always follows up with member concerns and is genuine when things aren’t always seamless and try to make things right in the moment when you give feedback. Highly recommend if you are looking for a wine club and you live in New York City.“

“Such a great experience. The owner is charismatic and I believe stopped at every table. I lived in Alaska for 7 years and I've eaten a lot over Halibut. The special was Halibut w/ a champagne caviar sauce and it was in the top two I've had the pleasure to enjoy in the lower 48. The Truffle grilled cheese was awesome. The duck was cooked perfectly. The steak fritz was on point. The soup dujour was cream of cauliflower and was just perfect on the pallet. We will definitely be back for the aged steaks and more.“

“This is the best coffee around, and they roast in house. Traditionally I’m weary about in house roasters in a small town, but this place has it right. The baristas are very knowledgeable and efficient. As far as the space, it is rather small but quaint. If you are in the area and want 3rd wave coffee, this is going to be your best option available.“
“Super friendly service and delicious gelato! I have had the pistachio, espresso, banana nutella all of which were phenomenal! Cute little set up outside with many lawn chairs and pinic tables. They even have corn hole boards to play with!! 100% worth a visit.“

“I've been to Magic Fountain a few times and enjoyed it each time. You place your order inside with friendly staff (you can try a flavor or two to be sure you like what you're ordering) and there's an extensive menu of flavors. The outside has a few benches and a cute mural and some vintage inspired signage in front. I can't wait to return this summer!“
“Wonderful shop! Curated lovely gift baskets and handled all of the shipping details seamlessly…top it off with a fondue treat for yourself and it’s a perfect way to manage your holiday gift giving. There’s much to love in this little gem on Love Lane! Make a plan to stop by often - it’s a treat for yourself, and others.“

“I got so drunk! They say it must have been good it you can't remember ? The owner is Portuguese, he gave us his secret private bottle. When he found out my friends n I speak Portuguese . Come w friends taste everything. Great place to hang w friends.“
“I celebrated my 33rd birthday 2/25. It was amazing we had a party bus drop us off. Though it’s winter season it was still beautiful to visit. Tasting deck has wonderful lighting. We got upgraded to the private cellar to accommodate for very chilly temperatures took minute for tasting deck to warm up. The staff was amazing (Gaetno & Christian) and helpful. My favorite wine was the Steel Chardonnay. We will be back for spring/summer time.“

“Love lane kitchen is a staple of Mattituck like Love Lane itself. Great food, cocktails, atmosphere, and service. Prices are fair. Unfortunately, this place like the rest of Love Lane becomes horribly overcrowded with tourists over the summer or weekends in pumpkin season. As a small restaurant, it gets CHAOTIC and completely ruins the experience if you try to sit down for a meal during these times. Rule of thumb - don't go in the summer or on weekends!“
“Very nice restaurant, a part of an inn. very specious inside but there is also sitting outside which is nice as it is between 2 buildings and you have plenty of shade. We had the Claude's Tacos (recommended), Fish and Chips ( a it blend, but I loved it), Lobster Roll (on a ban, but still excellent).“
“I came here as part of a wine bus tour. It was my least favorite of the three wineries we visited. We felt like just a number here, as it wasn't a very personalized experience. An employee came on to our bus to welcome us but after that, we were pretty much on our own. We tasted four wines, which were served in plastic cups. Other than brief descriptions printed on a sheet on the serving tray, not much information was shared about the wines. You could purchase hot dogs here as well as "sangria," which was basically just a rose spritzer. We walked through the vineyards but they were not as picturesque as other spots. One nice touch was that there was a band playing live music. It's a decent place to visit and a nice outdoor option to get out of NYC but wouldn't be at the top of my list to return to.“

“Safe for those with food allergies and an all-around good time. Everyone is super friendly, too. Super close to main street for easy shopping or a pretty stroll after a good meal.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free is the big one, but they also have vegetarian and vegan options.“
“Jason’s vineyard is one of the few vineyards that still allows outside food, children, and dogs. It is a very relaxed and welcoming environment. We’ve been going there for 5 years now and absolutely love it. Every time we are there, we recognize the faces of the employees, a sure sign that the people who work there are treated well and enjoy their job.PS the rose, Chardonnay, and bubble should all be tried!!!“

“A proper family-owned and family-friendly pub with excellent food and extremely friendly service. Eclectic decor for extra comfiness.Fries - pillowy and crispy, thick cut - like in Dublin. Can't really go wrong with anything you order.Thank you, Front Street!“
“Highly recommend this place. The service was spot on. Drinks, Charcuterie board delicious. Food trucks were available-we were full though ?. Live music great singing & playing many different genres. Beautiful grounds. All in all fabulous day there spent with friends ?????????????“
“A great big brewery in the heart of Peconic. Great Pumpkin Ale. Food was tasty, good for a brewery. It was loud and crowded so be prepared for kids, dogs, etc. Not a quaint little joint. Order your food and drink and go sit with a buzzer. It was fun. Very good French Onion Soup. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!“
“Wonderful spot to stop in and take a break if you're meandering around Greenport. The folks were friendly, letting us sample the beers without being pushy for us to buy (which we inevitably did because the beers were all FANTASTIC) and the tasting room upstairs is such a beautiful bright spot with a great view out the windows.“
“My wife and I “cut class” yesterday and spent the day in Greenport. We walked into Tea and Tscotchkes and bought some of both! It’s a beautifully curated boutique that offers items we typically wouldn’t find elsewhere; cool stuff we didn’t know we needed. The owner Jill is where all this good energy emanates from. She’s engaging and “present”, and a stranger that made us feel so welcome. That’s what makes this space special.“
“This delightful winery in Suffolk County is a true highlight of the region. From the moment you enter, you're wrapped in a blend of elegant and cozy atmosphere, complemented by the remarkably friendly and attentive staff. The quaint gift shop adds a lovely touch, ideal for finding unique gifts for fellow wine enthusiasts. The wines themselves are a highlight, especially the Riesling and White Merlot, both offering exceptional taste experiences. The summer season brings out the best of the winery, with its beautiful grounds providing a perfect setting for wine enjoyment. Anticipation is high for my next summer visit to this charming spot!“

“We haven't tasted flavors this rich since we were actually in the Mediterranean! The lentil soup was fantastic, the Octopus dinner was the best we've tasted outside of Greece. The Tantuni lamb was to die for, and the Ottoman's Shepard salad was so fresh and bursting with flavor. We have found a new favorite spot in Greenport! Don't be fooled by the subtle decor, as it only adds to the authenticity of this fantastic restraint.“
“Great atmosphere, great staff, great views. Came here with family and friends, we had a good time. Live band playing while we took some wine sips. They have indoor and outdoors where you can sit and relax with your family. The sunset around this part of town is spectacular! Perfect for those that love pictures.“

“This is the first time that we tried this restaurant, and it was one of the best decisions we made. The food was exceptional as well as the atmosphere! The service was impeccable, and the waitress was attentive The calamari was very very good and well prepared as well as the baked clams, even though we didn’t have heavy meals we had salads with grilled chicken and it was very good. I’m glad that we ordered a dessert which was gelato with espresso poured over it. Great way to end a very good meal definitely will be returning! A++++“
“Wonderful service and great selection. We tried a hand selected flight based on a few questions asked by the servers. I enjoyed 3 of the 4. I only liked the 4th. Casual atmosphere with a few tables outside. There is shaded area and it very pet friendly. I will definitely be back. I really enjoyed the Sauvignon blanc and purchased a bottle. Prices are reasonable.“

“Came here to get some work done out of the house. Overall, the visit was fine. The establishment is slightly cramped (cozy?), but does have barstool seating along the windows as well as a few couches. There's also free WiFi and solid outlet access, which was much appreciated. The baristas were to-the-point and efficient. No bathrooms I could see. The matcha latte and blueberry muffin I ordered were on-point. Will certainly return if I'm in the area or need a change of scenery.“

“We live in this town and we have been here many times. They have a great happy hour with half-price drinks most days of the week and on Fridays half price apps. We went for a full dinner several times this summer and we' have not been disappointed. Special recommendations for bartender Eddie, and waitress Katie. Recommend the dishes - apps: Baja fish tacos, fish chouda, Thai chili mussels, Entree: crusted cod. The chicken Milanese looks wonderful, but didn't actually have it. The shrimp and grits with sausage was only OK. I can make it better at home. Sit outside on the deck when the weather is wonderful, but sit inside when it is marginal.“
“Pit stop at a wine vineyard on the way to Montauk is a good idea. I guess it is off season now so not a lot of people on Saturday plus I get there early. Even it in September but the weather is still very hot. We get wine testing course $16 each not include some snacks. Live music on, poor puppy is so hot but they have cold water so it help a lot. Nice sipping wine and see peaceful view.“

“Picked up food tonight. The guy in the front of the house did it all. Took phone order, sat people, waited tables, tended bar. Cashed people by out. This guy didn't miss a beat. Where ever you got this guy, get some more people like him. Also food was good.“

“This is my favorite restaurant in Greenport, hands down. The food and service is always incredible. My go to is the steak tartare but everything I’ve tried is delicious. This is the one place where I know the food is reliable and always fresh.“

“I’ve been a wine club member at Macari for several years. Tonight, they opened up Meadowlark for an elaborate wine tasting and charcuterie spread, allowing us to try our quarterly club selections. It was an incredible experience! Everyone there is so friendly and clearly loves what they do. Their passion for excellence in customer experience and customer service is incredible. One of my very favorite people, Audrey, was at the event tonight pouring from one of the White wine tables. She is a beacon of light—I was SO HAPPY to see her. It was also a treat to finally meet Megan in person; she is always so attentive when I email the wineclub—highly recommended visiting either of Macari’s locations and joining their wine club!“
