“Had a wonderful, relaxed meal with 4 adults and 3 kids - fish and chips, fried chicken and spaghetti and meatballs from adult and kid menus were delicious. Server very patient and accommodating. Chocolate pudding cake was delicious.Kid-friendliness: Kids 6,8,10 were obviously welcome and their needs were met food-wise through a kids menu and by sharing adult food. They also enjoyed playing with an old fashioned rotary pay phone. Parking right at restaurant so no dangerous crossings, atmosphere felt relaxed and safe enough for older boys to go to bathroom on their own.“

“An absolutely abundant amount of choices, that All sound so delicious. What an incredibly unique menu. We were definitely overwhelmed on what to have. We had the taco Birria pancakes and mozzarella stick hamburger with mozzarella cheese fries. Both were delicious. The service was great, even though we got there just before closing, they didn't rush us. The inside reminds me of a 50's style dinner, so cool. First, they accommodated us quickly and made us feel welcome despite the fact that we arrived a little over 15 minutes late for our reservation; we were expecting to wait but they seated us right away. The atmosphere is soooo pretty with greenery and fun music playing.Now the food: My husband ordered a cocktail and I ordered wine and both came out promptly & were generous in size. While we waited for our food, we looked at the meals that were coming out of the kitchen and everything looked delicious! The serving sizes are VERY generous. My husband ordered the chicken parm vodka special and I ordered the ravioli and meatball. We easily could have split the chicken parm to share. It was easily one of our favorite meal experiences, as everything was made to perfection. For dessert we ordered the cheesecakes.. The first time I got their special 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and corn very big took some food home. Second time, french onion soup and Eastchester burger with fries. Yummy and third time shared zucchini fries and had the famous burger salad, Eastchester burger on salad with vingarette. I didn't think the vingarette was going to go good on this, but oh my goodness, trust the process!!!!!“

A meal form two will run you about $20 to $25 dollars. Not bad in todays ridiculous prices. The location was clean and the staff was responsive. The bathrooms were rather clean and functional. The is a school near by and the location was full with teens enjoying frozen yogurts and milkshakes. I had nom issues what so ever. What won me over was the taste of the food. Excellent I will say. If you are in the Riverdale area like I was, I highly recommend this burger spot and try their double cheese burger with cheese. You will not be disappointed any all. Trust me.“

“It's a small little spot right off Grasslands Road down the hill from WCC. Before entering I was greeted by the owner, Sam. He was very cool and truly believes in what he is doing. I really like it when owners get involved. The inside is small but decorated very nicely. The sandwich wasn't too big and wasn't too small. I got the cheesesteak and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. I'm not sure if they make their own bread but it was extremely fresh. The steak was juicy and the red and yellow bell peppers added the perfect amount of sweetness. I am eager to try their other sandwiches. I love supporting local businesses that are passionate about what they do and make great food. This place is a little pricey but it is too notch quality. I definitely recommend the sandwich spot.“

Here's my Englebert Pumperdink with thick, fresh sliced turkey breast, ham, bacon, onion and tomato. Breaded mushrooms with horseradish sauce are great...and my friend loved his very tender shell/strip steak with an enormous onion ring and a side of mixed sweet potato fries and wedge fries. “We got a food promo 1 appetizer with 2 entrees for $25 both taste good my fave was the one the had chicken and bacon, we sat at the bar and the girl there was very nice but there was this other guy the came here and there and every time he would come to the bar side it felt like he was being very pushy with us to get drinks, which it made me feel very uncomfortable and rush to finish my food but anyway aside from that everything was good.“

“The location is attached to the end of a craft beer market. Little hard to find. Have to continue walking past it outside and there's a door on the side. They do serve food however I didn't try any. I sampled the house lagers, IPA's and Stouts. Their main stout is absolutely phenomenal. The IPA's left a little to be desired for me. I like my IPA's with more of a hoppy bite at the end. The Lager was incredibly smooth and would be a great all day tailgating beer. Bar managers were very insightful about the products they had. Would recommend.“

I like to think of Wegmans as a kind of Stew Leonard's meets Big Y meets food court and marketplace with a wide range of offerings. Actually, the more I think of it, the more it reminds me of Gelson's in California. The store was well-organized. The Wegmans brand was sensibly priced. Great selection of NY craft beers. Good pre-made sandwich, which was why I stopped in the first place. I was driving home from NYC after an afternoon appointment and asked Siri to find me the closest supermarket as I needed a grab-and-go lunch and a few other items. I'm so glad she brought me to Wegmans. If we had one in Connecticut, I would go.“

I have just found the Jibarito sandwich on their menu and Oh My Goodness, it is friggin delicious! You can have steak, chicken, fish, and eggplant. I live for the steak sandwich. You have the option of having it on a hero roll or fried plantain. Fried plantain every day all day! It comes with stuff so you can have it made to order foe extra or to take away.
