“Been coming here since I was a small child. At one point it was a weekly occurrence without question that my family was getting Carvel. Haven't gone for years after I moved away and my diet changed but now that I'm back in the area and they gave vegan friendly options is a done deal. I find myself swinging by on occasion, even if by myself, and/or order from Uber Eats to deliver to me while coming home from a long week at work.

Vegetarian options: All ice cream is or SHOULD be vegetarian, but now they have Oatly based vegan ice creams that are amazing. I've been dreaming of pistachio ice cream that was vegan friendly for decades because pistachio was a go-to as a child and now they have it

Dietary restrictions: They gave vegan options now that taste amazing.

Parking: Parking along the side and more in the back.

Kid-friendliness: If an ice cream parlor isn't kid -friendly, they're doing something wrong.

Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and entrances are wheelchair friendly.“

“Best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. The Grape Nuts ice cream is genuinely great and the Coquito ice cream turned my girlfriend feral. Special shout-out to the VEGETARIAN MARSHMALLOWS. My girl loves marshmallows but usually can’t eat them because of the gelatin. We were extremely pleased to hear the toasted marshmallow topping doesn’t contain gelatin, especially because it tastes much better than most store-bought marshmallows.“

“Thrilled to find a shop serving ACTUAL gelato in Westchester. While their product can't compete with what you'd find in Rome, it is legitimately gelato and not ice cream masquerading as such - texture is dense and a little chewy, with very intense flavor. We take the kids there several times this summer, the choices for flavors are all delicious and tasty, we tried almost every flavor over the time that we have been going there, but the treat that stands out for me is the Dasher with Heath bar pieces; for my kids, they love Birthday Cake and either Cookie Dough or Cake Mix. Parking is a bummer, but we pull into McDonald's and run over to Carvel, the service is so quick that you are back in no time.“
