“First time buying lunch here I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato, mayonnaise and oil & vinegar. Perfect portion and flavor not too bulky unlike other delis that put so much stuff in the sandwich you’d be overwhelmed. I pretty much ate all in one sitting. I have very sharp ears for some reason I heard him say something after I ordered I forgot to ask to toast the roll. So I saw him put the entire bread with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato on the grill. The guy looked a little grumpy or just his normal demeanor who knows I’ve never been there before lol. Sandwich roll price $9.75 plus tax came out $10.30.“

“Went here for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. After tax with card it was $6 which was disappointing especially considering the lack of egg bacon and cheese compared to bread. The order came out fast and the guy who helped me was nice. It was a good sandwich but there are plenty of other places charging the same price or less for a much fuller sandwich that tastes just as good. I get the economy is bad but I’d rather the base sandwich be another ridiculous dollar more for a reasonable amount of fillings.“

“Always always fantastic! Agree with early reviewer who commented, “Don’t be fooled by “deli” in the name. This is seriously good cuisine.” Since day 1, consistently the best quality take-out in the area. Menu is much broader than suggested by the name. No reason to go anywhere else for a sandwich (any type), taco, entrée, or any other food to get on the run. Every item is homemade including the desserts and frozen treats. Fabulously warm and helpful staff. And remember, there’s parking in the back. (No seating or tables.)“

The staff is super friendly and made us feel like family. My kids (the most pickiest eaters ever) ate almost everything. The staff is very kid friendly which is a MAJOR yes in my book. “I like to frequent stores where the proprietor and employees go above and beyond. This is one of those establishments. It is clean, and the owner is one of the kindest humans I have ever met. We were passing through when our son got carsick. He went above and beyond out of his way to help us. The world needs more people and businesses like this.“

“They are under new ownership. They have plasma TVs with the menu on them and the menu boards are gone. There is a hot buffet and a cold buffet. I love the dumpling noodles and the crab legs. Their coffee is good and always fresh. Prices are reasonable and their fridges are stacked with all kinds of drinks. The people who work there are friendly. Genuinely friendly. Overall great food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere.“

They don’t offer seating inside the place, its ok the quality and flavor of the food really compensates.During summer or warm days they have some outside seating, perfect to slow down and just enjoy the little water fountain.It has customer parking and there is always street parking available.They only take cash but they do have a ATM machine.I usually get the three eggs, bacon and homemade potatoes. I order the same dish every time because it’s consistently the best-tasting food I’ve had with excellent portion size for the price, in Westchester County and I'm from Rockland County. I’ll drive over the Tappan Zee just to eat here. The staff are incredibly kind, too. I was shocked to see any reviews less than 5 stars. This is a deli, not a fine dining establishment. They give you an insane deal. The chicken wraps have almost an entire chicken breast in them. Very fair price.
