“I started coming to Beascakes years ago when I tasted their delicious chocolate chip cookies at an event. Since then, my family cannot have a holiday or birthday without their treats. Their custom cakes and cookies not only taste incredible but their decorators are extremely talented, they knock it out of the park every time. Everything that they make is out of this world, best bakery in the area by far.“

“We hosted an intimate wedding celebration in the elegant party room at Jean-Jacques. It was a joy to work with Donna Sullivan, who handles functions. She provided us with expert guidance in choosing the menu and every other detail. The room looked gorgeous, the food was exquisite and our guests were well cared for by Donna and the other servers. We received so many compliments from the attendees who remarked that they had a wonderful time and that the food was delicious. The bride and groom, and all of their friends and family, enjoyed themselves immensely and were able to meet, connect and have conversation in an elegant atmosphere. The party room is indeed a hidden gem at this premiere bakery and cafe in Pleasantville. My husband and I are not from the area and had never been to Jean-Jacques, but I contacted Jean-Jacques at the recommendation of a family member and couldn’t have been more pleased. It was exactly what we wanted. We had ample room for 40 guests and a jazz piano player. From the appetizers, Bellinis, Prosecco, wine and other beverages, to the sumptuous gourmet buffet dinner to the most delicious celebratory cake, everything was PERFECT. I say this as someone who has organized many events professionally over the decades. Donna Sullivan and Jean-Jacques are top notch.“

“I’m afraid to be too honest about how much I loved my first visit to The Tasty Table for fear that the more of us who share the less chance I’ll get a table…but…it’s great!! I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. We both loved it!!! We ate outside which was lovely, but inside is even more lovely! The design is farmhouse chic meets French patisserie…a great combo!!! And…the staff was kind and generous!! “I don't know how it's possible but this place may have the best falafel I've ever had. Most of us got either the falafel platter or sandwich. The insides are so moist while outside is perfectly crisp. The crispy outside is very savory. The insides are very, very green. I'm sure there's better ways to describe it, but I think you'll know it if this is what you're looking for.

The location itself is small, maybe room for 20 people. Impeccably clean and tastefully decorated.

It's a casual dining experience, walk up and order and they'll bring it to your table. The staff is helpful and patient.

Vegetarian options: Almost everything was vegetarian. A few options with egg. Vegan options were clearly identified.

“I was visiting a friend at Westchester Med. She was in the mood for pizza. I know nothing about restaurants up here. Google maps to the rescue. What a gem of a place! The food is fresh and the owner could not be friendlier! The only negative is that it's not on Long Island.“

My burger bun was hard as a rock, the bacon was hard and cold, my kids' broccoli was swimming in some weird oil like liquid, inedible, the chicken Mac& Cheese bowl tasted warm and seemed microwabable.....and we literally had to send back the wine carafe, it was BITTER!!! Needless to say a waste of money! Sorry, I wouldn't recommend, cute place but that is all.“

“This place is the best for delicious smoothies, already prepared Vegan lunches to go or to stay, and most of all, the staff. Melanie and Chelsea were so sweet and accommodating. They gave us the best suggestions for smoothies and took the time to ask us what we wanted and were in the mood for. “This place has the best food for a quick meal on the run, catering or a personalized meal. Supr food caters to all dietary restrictions including dairy free, gluten free and vegan while having options for those that do not have food allergies. Everything tastes delicious!!! I have used the catering for office lunches and everytime the staff raves about how good the food was! Check this spot out if you haven’t already.
