“Called in advance to see if they had nut free options for a friend who has a free nut allergy , but I wanted to take him for ice cream. The gentleman working was so helpful and let us know that they have separate nut free cases of ice cream and a totally separate case with the “nut friendly” ice creams. The scoopers don’t cross contaminate so it was super safe for our friend. Gentleman was super friendly when we arrived and ice cream was delicious. Tons of choices and variety!“

“I really love this place! I mean, we don’t come here often, but tasting on ice cream served here once again made me remember how well it’s appreciated and respected. For one, the flavors are excellent. My brother was shocked to have 2 enormous balls of ice cream on such a small cone, but when tasting the brownie ice cream left him with a reaction similar to the one in ratatouille where the midget chef eats ratatouille and grasps the table cloth. Unfortunately, I could not take a photo of his ice cream but I did for my pistachio. I would love to come here more often.“

“This is a nice locally-owned ice cream shop super close to the train station and in walking distance of a lot of shops. They’ve got sorbet, some interesting ice cream flavors, toppings, frozen yogurt, and a ton of other items. We got a cup and a cone and had quick and friendly service. The waffle cone didn’t seem homemade, but it was still tasty. Recommend for a cold treat on a hot day.“

“You may be thinking that all Carvel locations are alike, but they're not. I have visited many Carvel locations in many states, and this one (fortunately my "home" Carvel store) is the best. The soft ice cream is consistently dense and smooth, never runny, and they have a large selections of hard ice creams and sherbets, all of which are delicious. Portion sizes are generous. The staff is friendly and helpful. Never disappointed with anything from this place.“

“Exactly what you want a Carvel to be. The soft-serve ice cream is delicious in a way that the other ice cream stores and trucks can’t/don’t match. And somehow this particular Carvel seems to make extra creamy soft-serve, even though I know that’s unlikely since I assume they’re following a standard recipe. Service is always friendly and helpful, and they have buy one get one free Sundaes on Wednesday!“

“This is a well-organized self-service ice cream shop. First, you go to a small station where you choose the size of your ice cream cup. Then you go to the second station to choose the flavor of ice cream you would like. The last station is the table full of diverse toppings you can add to your ice cream. How much your ice cream costs depends on how much your ice cream weighs. The establishment offers drinks and desserts as well as a comfortable seating space. Also offers delivery. “Came here for a friendsgiving cake decorating class and it was such a fun activity! We drank wine ate some cheese and crackers while the DJ played some music. The whole experience was a 10/10. You also get to take home the cake you decorated and it taste amazing!! Definitely would go back.“

“Tonight... I chose to dream back to the 1970s when Baskin-Robbins were standalone ice cream parlors. This evening however in 2024, I was greeted by a terrific young fellow named Michael. I told him about my escapades with friends as kids in the 1970s with Baskin Robbins and I said would you make me the best banana split you've ever made anyone and his reply was, Sir, I most certainly will. On top of this perfectly ripened banana was Cold Brew Oreo, World's Famous Chocolate, and Jamaica Coffee ice creams. It was politely topped with chocolate syrup, butterscotch, wet nuts, a touch of whipped cream and three wonderful cherries. Not only was I reliving the 1970s but I was given a slice of heaven by a courteous young professional that made the experience worthwhile. The entire crew on tonight was stellar. So everyone, when you want great ice cream come to this location and you'll be treated like royalty.“

“Nothing special about this Carvel. It is your regular old ice cream store. Lots of flavors and toppings available as well as flying saucers, ice cream cakes and more. Staff was nice during my visit, note there is nowhere to sit inside or outside besides one table and a bench, so it is mostly a to go place. Clean, and affordable. 3/5

Eliza is one of the kindest, most professional employees I’ve encountered at Cold Stone in Scarsdale. She always greets with a smile, stays patient, and truly cares about customers.

It’s upsetting to see adults leave condescending reviews just because she clarified they don’t serve rolled ice cream. Being a teenager doesn’t make her any less capable & she consistently goes above and beyond.
