“We came from Maryland and searched for a bar, this came up and we couldn’t pass on it. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing music. Perfect for alternative people and very inviting. Honestly wish this place was closer to home because this place is awesome, and not to mention the deals and drinks are fantastic. If you’re in the area you have to stop here.“

“This place had been on my list for a while, so I was so happy to finally get around to checking it out! I met up with some friends for HH and it checked every box and more. From its warm ambiance, to the delicious food aroma, to the lengthy list of cocktails- I will definitely be back to continue to try all the cocktails I couldn’t get to yesterday!“

Waygu kebobs were tender and cooked to the perfect temp.

“Great for what it is - always keen and willing to get you fed in time for your flight! I fly to the UK a few times a year and this place is my dinner spot. The creamy linguine with scampi is my go to.
Vegetarian options: Beyond burger“
“I came here because some friends were DJing in the basement, the sound quality for the speakers wasn’t the best for DJ equipment it seemed, I would describe it as adequate. And I think they just went through a restructuring or remodeling and so it seemed you can only enter upstairs from the main entrance and downstairs from the entrance on the side. Those 2 spaces are no longer connected for customers within the venue. Other than that, this spot was great & I hear it’s Detroit night on May 1st?“

“Adrienne’s is the BEST restaurant around by far - I even prefer it over many great dining spots in Manhattan. Atmosphere… service… food… cocktails… I truly cannot say enough good things.
The bar tenders are consistently excellent (especially Christine inside and Chris M. outside).
The oysters are the best I’ve ever had and they rotate the selection practically everyday (ask for their house-made hot sauce with them for an added bonus).
Can’t go wrong with any dish on the food menu.
This place knows how to handle a crowd with ease!!! Always best vibes here.“

“This was my least favorite visit. The waitress wasn't amazing. The food was really good, but it's usually amazing. I would say it was a lot busier than I'm used to, so I'm sure that is the reason. I've worked in the food and hospitality field for many years and understand that part now what I don't understand is during a busy night the waitress being on her phone chatting it up with a co-worker while I'm there trying to get some more drinksand service. That was really disappointing. I also saw other tables of hers waiting at that moment as well, but I guess when gratuity is automatically included, you don't have to wow the customer. All other visits. I've had great servers this time, and I was not pleased.“

“We recently celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at Lilli restaurant, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. The food was nothing short of exceptional—every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The drinks were crafted with care and complemented the meal perfectly. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make the celebration feel personal and memorable. We never felt rushed and were able to enjoy every moment. A huge thank you to the team at Lilli restaurant for making this milestone celebration so special. We'll definitely be back!“

“Amazing. Stay away so there's more room for us.
If you do sneak in 😂 you will find friendly people serving OUTSTANDING food (small, careful menu) in a house that Jazz built.
Jazz folks this is the real deal. Everyone else should just come and enjoy the magic of live music.
Pro tip: come early for a seat for the 1st set or arrive late to get a seat by the 2nd set (most likely).
Vegetarian options: Small menu so check beforehand. My 2 vegetarians were fine.
Parking: If you circle they will appear
Kid-friendliness: If they like jazz (and can be quiet during the music) no problem!“

“What a pleasure it was to try this Latin take on classic Italian dishes. The service was pleasant and creative as a mocktail order exceeded expectations. Everything on the menu looked delicious, the chopped cheese ravioli and the tortellini dish was extra flavorful. I will be returning to try something new. Happy this establishment exists in my local neighborhood.“

“Unfortunately I was a little too late to try their food, but one look around the room, it seemed like everyone who had food was enjoying it. I hear the wings are on the spicier side so this is a fair warning. Also, one question on my mind was, ‘do they have natural wine?’ I did find out that they in fact do carry natural wine and it is delicious! Overall happy with my trip to Doublé !“

“Great concept. Drinks were on point, bartender was on top of things. Quick serve cocktails with complexity that would take 10x the time to build from scratch . Small quaint space, an expansion is in smart move in the future.“

“pizza and salad was amazing, great service and wonderful ambience. Drinks are always delicious. Only issue was the noise, there was a large table that was very loud and the noise carried. I have been here many times and tbis was unusually loud.“

“Filthy Diamond is truly a one of a kind space. The community cultivated by the fantastic staff is incredibly welcoming and inspiring. From live music, to killer DJ sets, to chess nights, to the arcade games in the back, or even just chilling in truly the coziest backroom ever (literally feels like my living room), there’s something for everyone. I’ve also met some of the most interesting people here—the hang is an extremely heady brew of artists, musicians, DJs, writers, poets, theater people, industry connoisseurs, literally any creative profession you can imagine. I feel so grateful and honored to count myself as part of this community, it genuinely feels like home—safe, joyful, inclusive, and so nourishing.“
“The Sunken Lounge was pretty groovy. The rich, retro, red lounge was warm and welcoming, and the view of Connie Cocktail Lounge out the back with the runway lights was far out. When we were watching the final season of The Fabulous Mrs. Maisel, it was neat to see TWA Hotel and The Sunken Lounge used as the set for the airport.“

“Decided to treat myself to dinner and went to check out this place. Came in during a dinner rush and was seated right away. A nice dark atmosphere. I ordered the NY strip steak and I gotta say it was amazing. Cooked to perfection, melted in my mouth. Cooked like a real steak a perfect medium rare. So good on its own and didn't any sauce but it came with a delicious arbol chilli salsa. Great service with friendly staff. I can't wait to come back and try the lamb tacos amongst other things. I highly recommend a lovely dinner here“

“I have dinner here about once a month for easily the last year. The menu changes seasonally and the adjustments are always more delicious. It’s a local spot where you can get a spectacular cocktail and/or a good glass of wine + paired with the happy hour oysters: always strong contenders. 10/10 always recommend.“

“Went for dinner on a Wednesday night at around 9:15 pm after it caught my attention on a walk around the neighborhood. I was immediately struck by the ambiance of the place: a warm red brick dining room thoughtfully decorated to feel lived-in verging on kitschy: red vinyl chairs, black and white subway tile floors, dark wooden bar and walls lined with pennants and photos from the bygone Brooklyn Dodgers. Service was attentive.
We ordered the fennel salad and a classic pie with sausage. Razor-thin sliced fennel and red onion made a crisp bed of vinegar slaw for playfully pizza-like toppings: blood oranges julienned to look like pepperoni and, in a flash of brilliance, a few hand-pitted olives to balance the sweetness of the citrus with a briny umami bite.
The pizza was simple and unlike any other I’ve found in New York City. Even with sausage added it was a lightly adorned pie, one that makes a regular slice from your typical slice shop seem extravagantly cheesy. But the thoughtful restraint exercised by chef Nino Coniglio’s kitchen allowed the quality of its ingredients to sing. The coal-fired crust was ultra-thin and baked to crispy perfection without sacrificing a light consistency. The slices maintained their structural integrity despite the sauciness of the pie. The red sauce, from DOP San Marzano tomatoes dressed with olive oil and light ribbons of delicate fior di latte, was beautiful in the way only the most beautiful things are: simplicity executed by a master who prizes the quality of his ingredients. My dining companion, a pizza skeptic, couldn’t help but eat half the pie before I had finished my second slice.
But don’t let my rhapsodizing fool you into thinking this is some fancy schmancy place. This place is a real bar, with $4 beers and $11 house cocktails, and pies are served alongside their cheap drinks until 3am. 3AM!
I hardly ever write reviews, especially of places I like for fear of TikTok-induced virality, but this place is simply too good to avoid. I’ll probably have to pay the price one day, but until then I will thank my lucky Charlie stars for this gem of a low-key neighborhood spot.“

“While biking along the beach with my son, we got hungry and were heading toward Subway — he wasn’t sure we could find anything tastier or healthier nearby. That’s when we spotted this cozy little sushi café-bar. We decided to take a chance — and wow, what a discovery!
We sat outside to keep an eye on our bikes and picked a few items at random: gyoza, a poke bowl, a roll, and French fries. And honestly, everything exceeded our expectations — fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying.
Let me take a moment to rave about the fries — they were pure perfection: crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside. I don’t think I’ll be able to enjoy fries anywhere else after this. I swear, they’ve either got a secret seasoning… or a bit of kitchen magic going on.
The poke bowl was beautifully balanced and fresh. Instead of the usual beans, it had green peas — I usually prefer beans, but I suspect they were out and made a thoughtful substitution. It still worked!
A special shoutout to the staff: even though we didn’t order drinks, they brought us cold water with ice on a hot day — a simple gesture that made a big difference.
I’m definitely coming back with my whole family. If you’re in the area — don’t pass this place by. It’s a hidden gem that knows how to make you feel welcome and well-fed.“

“Sometimes you’re just looking for a little beach time and some great BBQ – and Batesy's BBQ delivered on both! We were in town helping another G-FORCE location with an Amazon project, so naturally, we took a break to explore the local food scene. First Impressions: We kicked off with the Deviled Eggs – the jalapeño added a nice little kick while the bacon... well, it was bacon – crispy and delicious. Next up were the House Pickles – sweet, vinegary, and unexpectedly tasty. Who knew pickles could be this good? The Mains: Harry went with the Pulled Pork – packed with flavor, moist, and paired with an excellent sauce. The Potato Salad stood out with just the right-sized chunks, and the Cornbread? Perfectly crispy on the outside. Steve opted for the BBQ Chicken – tender and juicy, coated with that same outstanding house sauce. And the Kielbasa? This place might not be Polish, but they nailed it – full of flavor and definitely a surprise hit! The Potato Salad reminded us of Grandma’s homemade classic, and the Collards had a unique twist that, honestly, we didn’t hate. The rest of the table didn’t hold back either – from the Burger to the Mac and Cheese and, of course, more Pulled Pork, it was all a hit! No complaints across the board – Batesy's BBQ is definitely a must-stop if you’re in Rockaway Beach. #BBQLovers #PaintAndPlateCrew #GForceOnTheGo #FoodieFinds #WinWithVSB“
