“Sometimes you’re just looking for a little beach time and some great BBQ – and Batesy's BBQ delivered on both! We were in town helping another G-FORCE location with an Amazon project, so naturally, we took a break to explore the local food scene. First Impressions: We kicked off with the Deviled Eggs – the jalapeño added a nice little kick while the bacon... well, it was bacon – crispy and delicious. Next up were the House Pickles – sweet, vinegary, and unexpectedly tasty. Who knew pickles could be this good? The Mains: Harry went with the Pulled Pork – packed with flavor, moist, and paired with an excellent sauce. The Potato Salad stood out with just the right-sized chunks, and the Cornbread? Perfectly crispy on the outside. Steve opted for the BBQ Chicken – tender and juicy, coated with that same outstanding house sauce. And the Kielbasa? This place might not be Polish, but they nailed it – full of flavor and definitely a surprise hit! The Potato Salad reminded us of Grandma’s homemade classic, and the Collards had a unique twist that, honestly, we didn’t hate. The rest of the table didn’t hold back either – from the Burger to the Mac and Cheese and, of course, more Pulled Pork, it was all a hit! “We went to Harvest House before a show and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was relaxed but lively, and even though we sat at the bar it felt like we were part of the whole room. By the time we finished, the place was buzzing in the best way.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating when we arrived a little behind schedule, and made sure we could still enjoy everything without feeling rushed.

We ordered from both the specials and the main menu and enjoyed some excellent cocktails. Every dish felt fresh, balanced, and thoughtfully prepared. Harvest House perfectly captures that farm-to-tavern feel — warm, welcoming, and delicious. We’ll definitely be back!“

“The cocktails are sharp. The natural wine knows what it’s doing. Dry plants, good shadows. The music’s loud enough to cover for you if you’re nervous. Which helps. The bar’s all elbows and leaning in. But the booths—that’s where it happens. Curved little velvet coves. You sit too close and knock knees if you want to. And you do.

Once, in one of these booths, someone handed me a Shohei Ohtani baseball card from Japan. Just passed it across the table like it was nothing. But it wasn’t. It felt like the start of a weird, great story. Maybe it was.“

“This is a review specifically about the Ikura don. I love ikura so was super happy to see that they have ikura don on the menu! I also got the chirashi don, which was great. But as for the ikura... why is it so sweet? The ikura is marinated in a very SWEET sauce.... that I could hardly taste the special taste of the ikura itself. I just wanted to let the management know that that marinade sauce for the ikura is WAY too sweet!! Please highlight the taste of the ikura itself. 🙏🙏🙏“

“Great vibes and ambiance. A very nice change from the Brooklyn dive bars. Drinks are good and bartenders are nice, friendly, and chatty.
Only negative is if you want to play pool with a group of friends you have to win the table from a couple of pool sharks who continually own the table over and over again. So bring someone who is very good at pool or you’ll only be playing the pool sharks. Kind of lame but whatever. House rules I guess.

Only with the Falsa advertisement of romantic music this Sunday at 7:30 my reservation was for 645 dinner for live music at 7:30 which one person showed up with the equipment. It was 9:30 PM and still waiting for the music to start on a Sunday night. Finally got up to leave but went up to the musician and told him that it’s was a lack of respect that, even though they were not many people there they still advertised that they were going to play while they were sitting around on the lounge area, not respecting that there were a few people there waiting for them to play as they were told that was starting at 7:30 Very disrespectful from their part so don’t go on Sunday When they say they have live music at 7:30, which is not gonna happen if it’s not a full place, so Forget a romantic evening on a Sunfay evening with this band oh they also said the singer has not arrived it was 9:45 when we left and they close at 11pm

Our server was not the greatest, however, Kio stepped in and made us feel welcomed. He recommended the sorrel rum punch and it was a hit.
