Thank you Don Coqui for helping me pull off my post-elopement dinner. This is a great place to have an affordable private party in my favorite NYC neighborhood. The venue coordinator was so accommodating. We had amazing food, delicious cocktails and space to dance. They let us plug into the aux and do our thing. My family had a great time.
The 2 times I have been here it's always a guaranteed great time!! The food is amazing! The drinks are strong the staff is great!!! I suggest go with valet parking because that area is very hard to find parking! DJ will have you dancing all night!

Don coqui is always a great time with great music, the hookah is a little faulty sometimes and they attempted to charge us for their hookah not working sometime in January. Bottles are extremely overpriced, i recommend pregaming before going there because the prices will scare you. The food! You cannot go wrong with the pernil! It is moist and very well seasoned, i also recommend the shrimp mofongo! That sauce they use for the shrimp is addicting, don't say i didn't warn you!...read full review
