Krob Kreung Krob Ros is one of the favorite Thai spots in Astoria. The restaurant quickly became a staple, especially for the lunch special. Every dish is super authentic, flavorful, and wonderfully balanced. The krapow is spot on, and the Pad See Ew and khao soi gai are both great. The menu is different from other Thai food places and really is from the motherland. The food is so good customers forget to take pictures. The staff is warm, friendly, and accommodating, and the server is incredibly courteous and well-mannered. The decorations are cute, and the restaurant has the best desserts. The price is quite reasonable. The location is tucked away and the atmosphere isn’t the best, but this is the takeout go to for amazing food. Customers are heartbroken to hear KKKR might be closing and hope they stay around.
