“This is one of my favorite breweries in the area, maybe even on all of Long Island, and we spend a lot of time at breweries!
I love the little outdoor area. There are umbrellaed picnic tables, adirondack chairs, and simple cocktail tables with chairs.
The beer is really good. There is always a variety from IPAs to belgiums and fruities. I believe 8 choices. Now I also see cocktails on their menu. Though as much as I am a vodka martini fan, if I can have a good beer, I always opt for the beer. But, I just overheard the guy from Sand City Brewery commenting to Melissa the bar tender, that she makes the best cocktails. So you can't not have a good night here!
My fav this summer is the Summer Seance. Its a hazy double IPA that is not too sweet, not too hoppy, and not heavy. I have never been disappointed by any of their beers.
Lindenhurst train station is walking distance. And we order food from down the road and eat at the picnic tables. Very nice evening!“

“Just left Great South Bay Brewery. You gotta check this place out. It's in this warehouse set back from 5th Avenue, kinda unexpected, but that's what makes it so cool. The vibe inside is awesome, really chill, but still feels pro.

And the staff? Seriously top-notch. Everyone there is just so good at what they do, super laid-back but on it. Also above and beyond helpful. I had a flat tire right as I was leaving, and one of the bartenders, I think his name was Mark, saw me struggling. He came right out, no hesitation, and helped me get my spare on.

The crowd there is great too, a real mix of people, which just shows how vibrant Bay Shore is. And the beer, oh man, just a huge variety of nothing but high quality choices. And don't sleep on the food! I was honestly shocked at how good it was, way better than your typical brewery grub.

“DubCo is an amazing brewery & one of our favorites on Long Island. Pairing with a great rotation of food trucks / vendors makes the experience and visit that much more enjoyable. Today they had Secret Vegan Kitchen and it was some of the best vegan food I've ever had. DubCo always has a range of different styles of beers, which makes it more attractive to anyone in a larger group, not just a bunch of IPAs here. They also dip into a lot of fun spinoff drinks like their Greaterade (coming in 5 different colors / flavors) and their hard seltzers / hard palmer. Always something new to try & their staff are amazing at recommendations & allowing you to try some of their taps. A+ brewery.“

“My brother and I were craving a real bagel so we set out to try finding a nice place and grab a half dozen. He remembered “ Poppy’s bagels”. The staff were very nice and attentive. It’s a nice cozy place and well cared for. Clean and we definitely will be new customers of theirs. The bagels were delicious and fresh, even stopping at 1:30 in the afternoon. I was very impressed. “BEST TACOS ON THE NORTH SHORE. We stumbled into Ditch solely by chance and we are so happy we did. It’s a breath of fresh air for a rather stale Main Street in PJ. Very beachy vibes, feels more south shore LI than snobby north shore which is probably why I love it so much. The menu has a little bit of everything and everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked amazing. We ordered tacos, five different tacos so we could try a bit of everything. From the perfect corn tortilla to the pineapple toppings, everything was fresh and delicious. The owner Tracy came over to welcome us to his new spot and express his gratitude for giving the new spot a chance. Our server Brennan was working a busy lunch shift mostly solo and he still delivered a top notch experience. Very happy with our new discovery and we can’t wait to go back!“

“I found Chiddy's right by the Best Buy in Bayshore. Service was excellent. The Cheese steak was of great quality. The onions, pepper's and mushrooms gave the cheesesteak great character. Fries were delicious too. The $15 lunch special is a large cheese steak, soda, and large fries. It's enough for 2 lunches honestly.“

“Amazing food and top-notch service! I absolutely love the meals here. However, I did encounter a small issue with my recent Grubhub orders that I hope the owner can look into. When I order the Almond Butter Toast with a quantity of 2 and slices set to 2, I should receive 4 slices in total. But what ends up happening is I only get 2 slices, and to work around this, I have to place 2 separate orders for 1 slice each to ensure my order was right to make up for the missing food.

While I don’t mind this workaround since I love the food, it does seem like there might be a glitch with how the system processes orders when selecting 2 orders of 2 slices each. For example, when I ordered 2 with 2 slices, I was charged $13.98 but i only got 2 slices, but when I ordered 2 single slices, the total came to $9.98. Hope this review helps your correct this one little issue.“
