“We grew up in NY. We moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We have never found pizza that we could eat here and enjoy. (I've had pizza at Frank Pepe's in CT- I'm spoiled.) We were visiting family in Mount Kisco and stopped in for a pie to take back home with us. Best decision EVER! Wood fired- crunchy crust that held up to our toppings- sausage and mushrooms. Pizza was tangy, good cheese cover, and the crust just snapped when eaten. You made us very happy and we will come back again when we are in the area. I only wish that I could transport a clone to our area. Thanks for the fine food and the memories. #5!!“

“loved the Pistachio cake from Luigi’s in Carmel so much that I ordered one for my mother’s 96th birthday. I was in Florida and couldn’t partake but my sister picked it up in Carmel and my mom, sister and family were able to enjoy it. There were 7 people at dinner and due to the size and height of the cake, you can see they barely made a dent (however it was completely gone within 2 days). Everyone was absolutely crazy about it and everyone sent me pictures and called to thank me. It’s a shame to even call it a cake because you naturally think of something you buy in a bakery. This is a whole different world. This cake is exquisite. The flavor is outstanding, it is extremely moist, it has a ton of filling and frosting but not that sickeningly sweet kind – this is all top notch ingredients and completely unique. I felt awful because I know I didn’t give Luigi’s much notice and I know his wife worked 14 hours the previous day baking. But I didn’t feel so guilty that it stopped me from ordering it and they were so gracious about helping me. As you can see in the pictures, the attention to detail, the edible flowers, the beauty of the cake made it a birthday present in and of itself. I just cannot thank Luigi and his awesome wife enough for helping to make my mom’s 96th birthday special.“

“We brought the whole family for my sons 14th birthday and it was perfect. You cannot beat this pizza locally and it’s amazing fresh out of the oven. The rigatoni Ragusa was unbelievable. The kids had their ice cream at the end and it was perfect. The owners hands on service is what I remember from restaurants as a kid. I almost forgot, the music is great. We’ll be back.“

Put them together, in a wood fired oven, and you have perfection.If you like rubbery fried calamari, don't order it here. The calamari is tender, as it should be. “The pizza here is honestly some of the best pizza in the area... Their mushroom pizza is my favorite (they saute them in garlic first! Not just raw shrooms on a pizza). They've made me a pizza roll from scratch with spinach and mushrooms, and today they also made my husband and I fish and shrimp burritos. Every visit has been excellent. “Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. They were very accommodating of our needs. The food was excellent. We had choices of NY strip, Salmon, and chicken parm. Hearing from all of our guests, all food choices were excellent. We highly recommend this establishment for your next party. It’s also a great spot to go for a meal any day.“

“Went here for a slice of pizza on Monday November 6th, before heading to a funeral that was nearby. Went with my parents. They had quite a few pizzas and rolls available. I had a slice of BBQ Chicken pizza, my mom had white pizza with a spinach roll, and i forget what my dad had. i enjoyed my pizza, and liked the slice. I was a little lazy tonight and skipped better Pizza for ease of pickup on a rainy night.5 stars is not for the food, it is Domino's and while the food is as I expected, the fact that I didn't have time to turn my car off before my Pizza was delivered earns this location due respect.“
