Unfortunately the calamari was a bit overcooked BUT when the owner come over to simply ask how everything was and I mentioned it, he wisked it away and returned with a different appetizer- no questions asked. That is the type of service that has kept this local hometown restaurant tops in my book.
Would hands down recommend The Charlton Tavern any day of the week.”

“I went here for the first time today. Small and clean dining area. Not very friendly. I had the crab Rangoons - which were great. Also tried the beef with peppers and onions. The sauce was very bland. It wasn't busy when I was there, a few people coming in and out while I ate. It would have been nice to have a friendly interaction with the staff. I won't go again.”
