⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Alaturco Gyro is such a lovely place! The food is delicious, especially the shawarma and appetizers. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels warm and cozy. If you’re looking for great Mediterranean food in the Saratoga area, I highly recommend this spot. I’ll definitely be back!
The chicken gyro was absolutely delicious! The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. The pita was warm and soft, and the combination of fresh toppings and creamy tzatziki sauce made it taste incredibly balanced and authentic. You can really tell that everything is made with care and quality ingredients. Definitely one of the best chicken gyros I’ve had in the area, I’ll be coming back for sure!
Was really hyped to have them when they re opened but everything in thr chicken kebab platter was utterly terrible. They gave a tortilla on top of the kebab platter. Chicken was not really seasoned. The tzatziki sauce tasted like sour cream and eater with maybe salt and pepper. The salad was terrible. Whole meal overall was bad.

Alaturco Gyro Mediterranean Restaurant in Ballston Spa is a must-visit for fantastic Mediterranean food. The restaurant offers a clean, inviting, and welcoming atmosphere, more intended for takeout with a small deli setup and a couple of small tables. The staff is extremely friendly, approachable, and attentive, providing great customer service with quick and affordable service. The food is clearly made with love, care, tremendous skill, and passion.
The menu is delicious and great for both those hesitant to try international food and those who are comfortable with it. The gyros are delicious, with plenty of meat on the sandwiches, and are well worth the price. Options include a lamb and chicken gyro sandwich, a perfectly balanced lamb gyro, and juicy, flavorful chicken shawarma. Other standout dishes include very yummy kebabs, flawlessly executed moussaka, and stuffed peppers. The falafel is some of the best ever had, and the hummus is delicious. Sides like fluffy rice and crisp fries complement the meals.
For dessert, the chocolate baklava and baklava are extraordinary, offering the best baklava experience with crispy layers and rich filling. The Turkish coffee is also a highlight. This place is a pleasant surprise, building something special with food that is legit, intentional, and not average. It is a highly recommended restaurant for an authentic Mediterranean foods experience.
