“I had to check this joint out. They signed sealed and delivered. As a culinary professional, this establishment has perfected and been able to execute true delivery on a product. The pizza dough don’t flop, the cheese has no grease. My son and I killed a half a pie on the way home without a single napkin. They wrapped the food like they’re wrapping a present. They make homemade semolina rolls and the garlic knots are bathing in olive oil and fresh garlic. Don’t forget to check out the counter with extra products that you will want to add to your order like the chicken cutlet à la vodka slider. The staff is friendly efficient and have a very positive attitude. I even caught one of them saying we are going to have a great shift tonight. that’s all you can ask for when you work in this business. Make sure you try the Italian combo (with hot peps)“

“Very nice, cute, little, homey vegan pizza shop in Beacon. It's nice to see a fully vegan spot in Beacon though you'd never guess. This pizza is absolutely delicious. It's a small operation by one guy so the menu is limited but great. But because of this, he's only open 3 days a week which makes it hard to make it here sometimes but worth the trip. The ingredients seem incredibly fresh and it's not too heavy. I saw every table of 2 finish a pie. I think there are still some improvements that could be made such as cooking in the oven just a bit less and making the crust a touch thicker but overall this pizza was absolutely delicious and worth trying.“

“We love everything about Sal's in Beacon and in Fishkill. The staff are some of the best I've experienced anywhere. They're welcoming and friendly, and they're kind to my kids. They greet everyone with hometown vibes when you walk into the store. It really feels like family! Even though the "fancier" part of the restaurant is generally only open at night, Danny (the owner) opened early for us in the middle of the afternoon. The food was delicious. The service was attentive, but not overbearing. This was important after a funeral because we all wanted to spend time talking and visiting with each other, not just eat and get out. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and antipasto plate for the table. Both were so good we had to get another batch of each. Everyone ordered what they wanted from the menu, so we had a wide range of dishes. Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy what they ordered. Good wine selection, too. They really took care of us.
