“First time buying lunch here I ordered a turkey sandwich with lettuce , tomato, mayonnaise and oil & vinegar. Perfect portion and flavor not too bulky unlike other delis that put so much stuff in the sandwich you’d be overwhelmed. I pretty much ate all in one sitting. I have very sharp ears for some reason I heard him say something after I ordered I forgot to ask to toast the roll. So I saw him put the entire bread with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato on the grill. The guy looked a little grumpy or just his normal demeanor who knows I’ve never been there before lol. Sandwich roll price $9.75 plus tax came out $10.30.“

So grab your breakfast and your lunch before you head to the train! (Tip- they offer for a free soda with the lunch special). They have everything that I need when I’m not in the mood to run to the supermarket. There’s a lot of healthy options here as well. Including cereals. “Good service, but that's not the reason this place rates top of the charts - this is;When you get a chance to sample or even eat something that the kitchen didn't expect you to get, and that item is fantastic - it speaks volumes to the capability of the kitchen to deliver tasty fresh creative and delicious food as in the case of Henrys. I had the penne in tomato sauce, which was the best homemade pasta sauce I've had in decades. Fresh cilantro, fresh onion, and a low viscosity that isn't oily which is nice. Mwah!“

“Chris is da man and hooks up some bomb sandwiches. This is a main north Stamford stop along since I had some issues at LaRoccos on long ridge. The staff is polite but when some leaves the door open it can get to hot or cold so of course they need to say something we were not raised in a barn door. If I drop off my guys and I need a quick snacky snack i gotta stop here for some grub and chit chat. Love this place and support the local community business everyone“

“I am a big fan of A&S and have been a customer for the past 40 years. While I lived in Pleasantville for many of those years, I no longer live locally. I make an extra effort to pass them on my way down from Hartford, CT to NY. That said, I had an experience today that makes me wonder, so BEWARE. I went in to buy fresh mozzarella and picked up a few of their delicatessen items. a few got weighed on the scale that I could not see, the last one on a scale I could see. Before putting the plastic container on the scale, the scale read 0 instead of minus something to address the weight of the container. They were effectively charging me $18.99 a pound for the plastic container. I called them out on it and to their credit they deducted $2.00 from my bill. I found this disappointing and will make sure to watch the scale in the future.“

“To begin with the staff at the Rosehill Deli are brilliant so friendly and courteous. We have had many breakfasts and lunches to go and have never been disappointed.. For the first time ever I decided that life was way too crazy and I couldn’t handle the whole thanksgiving dinner so I ordered from the Rosehill Deli Turkey, stuffing, gravy and more and was absolutely delighted and as expected the food was fabulous �we would recommend this to everyone ... so happy to have them so close to home .
