“Nice Mexican restaurant with friendly atmosphere. We came on a weeknight and service was just okay considering the restaurant was not busy. Owner or manager and hostess were too deep in conversation to thank us for visiting etc. Not normally a reason I would post about, however it seemed as if they were trying to ignore us.Food was okay but not as authentic as I would have wanted.“

“Been coming to this place for 20 years idc what anyone says.. the shredded beef taco and chicken tacos with the salsa verde are good as hell. This isnt sloppy soggy heavy mexican food. Fresh flavors and textures working together. Crispy taco with marinated shredded beef topped with cool lettuce and tomato also crumbled queso fresca with the chiltomate sauce It’s absolute perfection! Rice and beans hit too not overly salted and perfectly cooked. They give you generous portions and chips and salsa with your order. The inside is very cute for dining… they have updated it since- used to be mostly takeout and like 2 tables inside. its very clean has a good vibe. good for anyone wanting grab a bite to eat alone and not feel weird lol. and in the nice weather they a few small tables outside!“

“Tijuana has the best Mexican cuisine in Mount Kisco. All of their ingredients are clearly fresh and everything is made to order! They have the same "chipotle" style set up, but the ingredients are so so SO much better. And if you don't want to make your own, all of their premade menu items are perfection!! You can literally taste the extra care and love that is put into each meal. I have been coming here for YEARS and will not and cannot stop! The owners start making my owner before I even close the door behind me, they're the sweetest people ever. “It is SO tragic how tough it is to find bomb Mexican food in Westchester! Tamarindos is literally an oasis. I try to make it to dinner here at least once every time I'm back visiting from Los Angeles where I live. Standouts are the mezcalito, guacamole, and the mixed vegetable quesadilla. If I lived closer I'd no doubt be here multiple days a week.“

“Excellent, authentic local Mexican restaurant! I've been coming here for years and am never disappointed. The staff is incredibly friendly, the service is quick, the food (especially the fajitas) is delicious...what more could you ask for? I typically dine-in here, but I have ordered take-away a few times before and it has been a seamless process, as well. My go-to are either the chicken or the shrimp fajitas. The warm, house-made tortillas are mouth-watering! I also love that it is a small place. With only a few tables, the service is extremely quick and responsive, and it is never too loud in there. They do have a booth that can fit a larger group, and I have seen the staff put several tables together to accommodate a larger group before. Nevertheless, this is perfect for groups between 2-8 people. Street parking is available and easy to snag, and there is also a massive parking lot straight in front of the restaurant (paid unless it's a Sunday, depending on time of day). Highly recommend checking out Azteca if you are looking for authentic Mexican food in town!“
