“I was craving collard greens - and looking for a new place to try. I found Village BBQ on line and was impressed with the reviews so off I went. Randy the owner is not only the nicest guy but a fantastic chef! He and his wife run the business. I had his brisket (at his insistence!) Delicious! Sweet potatoes and collard greens. Customer next to me raved about the banana pudfing so I added that too. All 5 star!!! Very happy I took the chance on a place in a gas station!!“

“I went to Beach BBQ and satisfied would be an understatement. Upon arrival I was greeted by staff at hat engaged as if we were family or old friends. I reviewed the menu and settled on the Dragon Glazed Salmon Mac and cheese and candied yams. The meal and service was superb. I highly recommend this spot ! Don’t walk Run to this restaurant!!“

“We had our lacrosse team dinner here tonight and it was hands down the best experience we could have had!!! The food was AMAZING (it impressed even the BBQ aficionado dads in our group) and the service was fantastic!!! Honestly I can’t recommend this place enough! If I could give it 10 stars I would!!! “I live in Wantagh and have been to Dang many, many times. The food is great, the service is fantaststic and I would rate you a 10 out of 10 but for one thing...the MUSIC is horrible! It is the same songs by the same artist every time we attend and it is about 50% too loud as well. I like country music and it is appropriate but please, get some decent country music that has some classics and recognizable artists. Today, we had a great lunch and our waitress, Kaitlin, was wonderful. But we skipped desert because we just could not take any more of the terrible music. I know others who share my opinion. Please, put a cherry on the cake and play some decent music we all can enjoy and keep the volume reasonabe. It should be background music, not overpowering. Cordially, Vinny Vincent Ciro 👍“

“So I will say I was skeptical. As a southerner we often think there's no good barbecue outside of the South. However I was pleasantly surprised with this spot! The ribs were fall off the bone tender. As a bit of a BBQ enthusiast I tend to avoid cooking mine that way but I must say the ribs here are good and the sauce was tasty! The Owner (I assume) was very pleasant, and it was great exchange while I waited. He gave me a whole heap of ribs and could barely close the container!! Service was prompt and I would definitely recommend this as a stop for lunch if you're in the area! Just make sure you bring your appetite!“

“Celebrated graduation with family at K-City in Levittown! WOW!! The experience was new and exciting for the kids and for the adults. Prices were perfect and the selections were plenty!!! “We've been coming here for the past three years. My favorite dish is the honey lemon pepper wings with the truffle fries. Oscar makes the best wings! Hot, crispy and well-seasoned. We've tried just about all of the menu items to include the mac and cheese, yams, collard greens, brisket, burgers, Sweet Tai chili wings, ribs and the chicken and shrimp combo. My favorite is the honey lemon pepper wings with a Blue Mai Tai. Their hours during the winter are iffy, but when they are there, it's always a good time. Music is great and the sound is crisp, never too loud. Staff is friendly and the owner always comes out to chat with us. Prices are on par with the rest of the restaurants on the Mile.“

“AWESOME KOREAN RESTAURANT IN LONG ISLAND: I’m not a foodie and I don’t think I’ve ever posted about restaurants (but I am Korean) - I have to make an exception for this place. Yes, this restaurant is on Long Island, but the Korean food EXCELLENT (better than lots of places in Flushing) and service is OUTSTANDING. Every dish we’ve tried so far (짜장면, 순두부찌개, 육개장, 제육덮밥) has been so amazing, delicious, and authentic (especially the spices!!!). If you’re ever in the area, please stop in and eat here. It’s crazy awesome! Thanks to my friend for encouraging me to try at a Korean restaurant that is not in Queens. My family will be forever grateful - five stars and 2 thumbs way up from me and my family members. :)“

“BEST BAR IN BALDWIN (in my opinion). **Detailed review below**
The owner, Shawn, is friendly, respectful, and knows his stuff. When he took over The Irish Pub, he made it a point to get involved as an active part of the community and create an inclusive atmosphere. This bar and its patrons, especially on karaoke nights (every other Friday) with NV Entertainment, are a lively bunch so you'll be sure to have a good time. It does get crowded at times, especially during karaoke, but that's how you know it's a great place to be!
They have a new menu and I hadn't tried the burgers yet, so I figured I'd give the Bruin Burger a shot. I was having so much fun that I had to save the burger and fries for the next day, so it was wrapped up to go. Even next day, it DID NOT disappoint! Pop it in the air fryer and you're golden. No excuse not to get a good meal from here, even if you don't drink.
Last but not least, Big Los behind the bar is always helpful. Seeing I ordered a few drinks (and I have small hands), he picked them up with ease and brought them all to the table for me. I notice things like that because how many times have you been to a busy bar and the bartender just pours your drinks, takes your money, and you have to figure out how to get them over to your table without spilling? Los took the guesswork out of it. Thank you, Los!

“The door man/singer lured us in just after entering little Italy. The air condition was non existent where we were seated (near the out door entrance/sidewalk, but the food was pretty good. I'm not mad at eating here, but there may have been better options.“

“Well where can I start, stopped by to get something to eat after taking an exam near the location. First off the atmosphere is nice with traditional tables and chairs expected, nice Spanish music playing in the background while one enjoys their meal, a wide variety of Juices and a good selection of foods to try personally the ribs were amazing and the fried chicken even though a bit cold was delicious. The place is chill, came to to eat with my father and the pricing wasn't that bad for two huge plates of food, around $50+.

“This location has been around for a very long time, about 40-50 years & the food is good & prices are reasonable. I've been eating here since I was a kid! The place is neat & clean & the staff is friendly & accommodating. The chicken or shrimp dishes are pretty good & I think they serve beer (plz verify). I definitely recommend them.

“My boyfriend and I stumbled on this place while looking for somewhere to eat. It was pretty empty when we arrived, which we actually loved. We were greeted warmly, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. We started with warm cornbread, then had the ribs and chicken with mac & cheese and fries—every dish was delicious. “I’ve never been to a rodizio restaurant before, and I came up to Long Island to spend Easter and my birthday with my daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren. It was by far the best experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, the staff were professional, knowledgeable, efficient , the food is constantly hot. I would rate this restaurant at 10 star!
