“They make a really good sandwich here. Delicious traditional (and several imaginative) sandwiches round out a nice menu of choices that also includes salads. The Country Fried Chicken sandwich and the Cuban sandwich are excellent and portions seemed generous. My other half and I split a Country Fried Chicken sandwich on one visit and it was the perfect lunch.

Though there is limited seating, this is a take-out place, albeit mid- to high-end take-out (think Diner Boys). It is not inexpensive, but then you're not eating Jersey Mike's or Subway sandwiches here; while the dining area here is similar to those type of places, the quality, taste and style of these sandwiches are well above them. We felt the pricing was a bit high for what is a primarily take-out place, but we plan to go back to see about the raves on the Philly Cheese Steak and the Crispy Chicken alla Vodka, which we didn't try on our initial visit.

One thing to note if you don't order ahead: you'll wait longer than you might expect, especially for sandwiches like the fried chicken, which is obviously prepared fresh when ordered. We came at a completely quiet time (7:20p), and were just about to the point of asking when we'd get our order when it came out.

While the service was fine for counter service, we didn't experience the same level of service some reviews here have mentioned; it was simply a counter transaction.

Parking is street parking only, and is limited; we got there just in time to get one last available space on Merrick Rd directly in front of the business (there is a fire hydrant there, which limits the storefront to about 3 spaces). While there were a couple of spaces available on the side street, that was about all there was. I don't think I'd want to have to try parking there or crossing against traffic during rush hour, when this section of Merrick Road is jammed.“

“My wife and I went for lunch on our Anniversary. We both ordered the Red Snapper special for the first time. WOW!!! It was the absolute best Asian dish we ever had. We will definitely be adding this tour menu selection from now on. HIGHLY recommended.“

“Yet another amazing visit at Village Greens in Rockville centre! First off I love that one of the owners is there working and greeting you. He is always so kind and helpful. It’s a beautiful, clean place with indoor and outdoor seats available. But let’s get to the good stuff. I always try to visit for their new specials, even though I’m visiting from out of town. “We recently ordered from Exotic Kreations for a 60 person bbq/party. We ordered their Pasta Salad and Fruit Salad for the party and I ordered a small size of their Shrimp and Crab Salad and their Chicken Salad for my family.

My daughter Victoria and I stopped by this Olive Garden at 1246 Old Country Road, and we had a wonderful experience. Our server, Ariana, was excellent—very attentive, friendly, and professional. The manager, Margarita, was also amazing and made sure everything was perfect.

Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. The chicken bacon ranch is the best i have ever had. I would have given this place 5 stars if they made the Buffalo chicken and bbq chicken slices like they do the chicken bacon ranch. Unfortunately, those are usually my go to slices but for some reason they take a very different approach than they do the chicken bacon ranch and it definitely doesn't work. I recommend giving this place a try especially if you live in the neighborhood.“

We come here occasionally after the dog park visit, and we have yet to be disappointed. The wonton soup is a must have, better than anywhere else I have tried. The prices are also very good. “From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. I go inside with my 3 children and ask the man to look at my email without me seeing it. He is very helpful and puts the order in for me. “I stopped by “That No Good Burger Joint” for lunch yesterday and extremely surprised at the customer service and the menu filled with options. I ordered a triple smash cheeseburger with the fries and washed it all down with 2 flat tires. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friend and family and would plan to go back soon. The burger was cooked to perfection and the fries were just right. The server was extremely attentive and made sure my and my cousin were well taken care. “Kaiyo is a great local spot for high-quality sushi.

The fish is very fresh, the rolls are well balanced, and nothing feels overdone. You can really taste the quality in both the nigiri and specialty rolls. Portions are solid, and everything comes out looking clean and thoughtfully prepared.

The atmosphere is relaxed but polished, and the service is friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. It’s an easy go-to for a casual dinner that still feels a little elevated. Definitely a place I’d come back to.“

“Excellent chicken and rice spot in Bethpage.
I've been to a large number of spots for chicken and rice, from the halal guys on 53rd and 6th, to the numerous spots along Steinway street in astoria, shahs, And other halal spots along the island and around hillside avenue and it's great to have an excellent local place close by to satisfy by desire for mix over rice.

Every spot has its own take on the chicken and halal eatz does a great job with whatever the seasoning is. White sauce is on point and hot sauce is HOT as expected. They have a number of other items I've never tried but am looking forward to tasting.

I saw they have byob (Bag of chips - not beer obviously) which is something that's become popular on social media, and I think it's a great idea for a solid price.

Overall great food that never disappoints that honeslty I'd say is the best bang for the buck in the area and a refreshing alternative to have around to eat. I'd post a picture but the ones that are already shared do it justice enough. If you opt for a platter, while I normally do pita, their fries are great.
