“Guppy’s is our “go-to restaurant.” When someone visits from out of town, we take them to Guppy’s. When I want a Friday fish fry, Guppy’s has the best. Look out for weekday specials! Steamed mussels in butter and garlic for two with a side of fries is awesome. My wife always finds delicious gluten free selections and the chefs are always accommodating. Did I mention the great drinks and beer selection? Gondola seating is fun (a couple of times) and there is patio seating as well as indoors for when the snowmobiles are in use - lol. Highly recommended!

Dietary restrictions: Good choices for celiacs and accommodating chefs.

Parking: Large parking area behind the restaurant. Even that can get full during tourist season but you can park along side road.“

“We've been coming to Pace's Pizza for many years. It has always been great, but since new ownership has taken over, it is even better! Great staff, owner (Joe) always stops by the table, and the Pizza is by far the best around. We are summer residents and drive in from Mayville many times each summer, as Pace's is a family favorite for all of our visitors. I highly recommend you give it a try!“

“Adding a comment to my old review:

Perfect Pizza is one of our favorite places to order from. Last night we used the Slice app for delivery and the driver picked up someone else’s order and delivered it to our house. I called Perfect Pizza and they were already aware of the situation and said the delivery driver just grabbed an order and left without confirming it was for me. Totally beyond their control unfortunately as it’s through a 3rd party app. They understood that it was inconvenient but they said they still had my food available if I wanted to drive over and get it and that I could dispute the charge with Slice and get my money back. So we brought the food that was delivered to us back in exchange for our own food (they tossed the food we returned) and even gave us a free soda for us having to drive there. The customer service there is always awesome and made up for the fact that the Slice (who uses DoorDash to deliver) driver messing up not only our order, but someone else’s that couldn’t pick up their order on time because we ended up getting it. So we basically got our food for free via disputing through Slice and a free soda from Perfect Pizza. Not only do we love their food, the service there is amazing. And they have some pretty awesome Halloween decorations out!“

“We were at our vacation rental on the Chautauqua Lake and we're looking for somewhere to grab a bite, and Group Ther-Happy was recommended, and it did not disappoint.

Let me start with the service, it was great. Shaq was quick, whitty and made the experience there that much better.

The food was good. The cheese and pepperoni pizza was loaded with cheese (way above average anywhere else), so it is filling. Quality cup and char pepperoni too! The Fungi pizza was good, but seemed a little lean on the mushrooms. The burger was reported to be tasty, although if you opt for the beer cheese, it can be on the heavy side. But you can always pull some off.

They do have anb patio, nice bar area and TV's to follow sports etc. A spot we'd recommend if you are in the Lakewood area.

Bonus. The women in our group found the Expresso martinis to be above average. They also enjoyed the sign for the bathrooms. In the pics...“

“Absolutely outstanding food. Everything was fresh and came out rather quickly. We ordered the warm asiago bread, salmon and steak. We sat at the bar, and although the bartender was rather busy she was still really attentive and friendly to us. The atmosphere was very cute. The one thing I would say is to make a reservation because seating is limited!“

“We had a 3 pm reservation for a party of 6 for Mother’s Day and the whole experience was amazing! We were seated and our server took our drink order right away. The bread and appetizer were really good. We placed our food order and the food was out quickly, hot and amazing. The orange salmon and Mai Mai were 2 of the specials and they were delicious. All our meals were wonderful. Best Lasagna I’ve ever had. The service was great and best dining experience out we’ve ever had on a holiday. Thank you for making our celebration great!“

“People in Olean want a Wegmans, but Olean apparently can’t even sustain a Park n Shop anymore as of the past year. So we just go on over to Jamestown to go to Wegmans. There are several different Wegmans to go to in this particular federal probation district so I will inform the rest of my fellow undercover agents where to find potential probation violators if they go to a Wegmans outside their probation region.“
