“Husband & I were in the area & decided to stop in for lunch today & glad we did. I had the Lamb Gyro, came w/french fries & Beef Barley soup. Soup was delicious. Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. The staff were very nice and attentive & restaurant was cheerful & clean. We will definitely be coming back to try their dinner next time. Highly recommend Opa Grille.“

“After asking for recommendations, we ended up at Jackie Reilly's on Hempstead Turnpike in Bethpage on Saturday night. No pics, but we ordered a chicken quesadilla and teriyaki steak special, with gorgonzola, mash, and vegetables. The special also came with a salad. We sat at the bar, and the bartender offered to bring out the quesadilla and salad first, and the special on its own. Everything was AMAZING, and it was INCREDIBLY reasonable. We each had two drinks, plus the quesadilla and special, and it was around $100 before tip. Highly recommend this establishment.“

“Champagne House has become our go to place! Discovered this gem a few months ago and never disappoints! Decided to go with our waiter Jason’s recommendation Bourbon Street Steak. WOW just WOW It was out of this world. My husband ordered French Onion Pizzetta that to is just as delicious. Glad before we left the Chef came from kitchen speaking to other patrons and we were able to tell him how much we enjoyed our meal this evening as well as our earlier visits Highly recommend!!“

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

My Father has since passed but my Sister took my Mother there today and they gave my Mom hugs, told her they loved her and how cute she was. I was in tears when I heard this from my Sister. I am so Happy that my Mom has this place to go to to get out and feel so loved by so many. Over the years the Sunrise Diner has been a very Happy Place to go to. The service is the best we've ever had. They've treated my Family like Family. I cannot thank the People at the Sunrise Diner enough! They mean so much to my Family. And you can't beat their food!!! There is a separated dining area so you’re not just crammed by the bar. No pool table, no fights, no hassles. Food is good with a large variety of options plus specials. The staff busts their asses to make sure your needs are cared for. If you’ve never been here, give it try and I promise you it won’t be the last time you’re there.“

“The Coral House is a grandiose experience. It emits a unique sense of style and elegance suitable for a wedding. But, it does have a few cracks.
The lighting and overall atmosphere is incredible! When you think of the highlights of a wedding venue, the Coral House should be a strong consideration.
There was a wide selection of food and drink, and the rooftop area for cocktail hour leans in to the New York wedding experience. For some reason, people cannot deny drinking and eating while looking over the gorgeous lake the Coral House rests next to.
I’ll also state, the overall service was great!
Now for the cracks. While the “vibes” are great, there is still a lot of unsightly corners. For example, the rooftop bar broke the level of elegance by letting us see into the dingy corners of that room. A few curtains, some dimmer lights, and maybe some other set dressings would have made the experience just that much tighter. A venue is not just about the view, it is also about the presentation.

Besides those little bits, I think The Coral House deserves to be on the short list of wedding venues.“

“Every time I come to Long Island, Applebee’s is my go-to spot. The food is always delicious, and they keep adding even more tasty options to the menu that never disappoint. The staff is super friendly and always makes you feel welcome, which makes the whole experience even better. I love the atmosphere—it’s close to the airport so you can see planes flying by, and inside you’ve got big NFL games on the TV screens, which is perfect for game day. Plus, being able to order food and play games right from the mini tablet at the table makes it both fun and convenient. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat when I’m here!“
