We took a chance and popped in here on our drive from NJ back to canada.
The owner was so friendly and welcoming and very generous in allowing us to try the flavors of ice cream. They make their own ice cream, italian ice, and carry multiple flavors of the Perry’s ice cream.
The ice cream was fantastic! Do make a stop here if you get a chance.

We love Sammy’s! Today’s special, cheesecake ice cream with graham crackers and strawberries, was delicious!!
The best of the best in Broome county. 😃. Will continue to go there for all our ice cream cravings. ☆☆☆☆☆ 5 stars all the way around.

Sammy's Ice Cream and Italian Ice is a pleasant establishment, offering both drive-thru and in-person service. Their ice cream has been highly praised, especially the "triple chocolate" shake and the rich, creamy soft ice cream, which is noted as the best many have ever tasted. Customers appreciate the easy-to-read menu featuring various versions and flavors of ice cream, from milkshakes to sundaes and their yummy heaven in a cup.
One customer enjoyed a special birthday sundae, which included cider mill ice cream, apple caramel sauce, whipped cream, and an ice cream sandwich. Another highlighted the adorable baby cones filled with delicious cake pops, perfect for dessert tables at parties. While there was a mix-up with an order at one point, the staff remained kind and accommodating, contributing to a positive experience. Additionally, the drive-thru window is always open, and many find the prices to be very reasonable. Overall, everyone at Sammy's does a great job and is very pleasant and helpful.
