“I'm hooked on this Mexican restaurant. The margaritas are the best in the city, the grub's quick and tasty, and their homemade hot sauce is ridiculous. The staff's also super knowledgeable and friendly, so it's a solid spot to take out-of-town guests who are hungry and thirsty.“

“Placed a large order online - 23 items many ordered with substitutions and ingredient changes/edits - and the restaurant was experiencing high volume of online, drive thru, and in-person orders at the time I came to pickup my order. I waited about 10 minute to receive my order, which I believe was very reasonable given the location being very busy. I observed the manager handle a drive thru order issue with courtesy and professional during this busy period while also treat other customers in the walk-in area with respect and courtesy. I thanked employees for their efforts on my order. When I reviewed my order it was 100% accurate. Kudos to the PEOPLE at the McKinley express location for their work this evening!

Kid-friendliness: I have picky eaters (4) and I placed the order online because the app makes it easy to select and deselect ingredients. Mighty taco makes every menu item very customizable to suit my family’s needs!“

“While we have always enjoyed our meals at The Mansard in the past, our last two visits have been uninspiring. Our most recent visit on 8/3 was average at best. The bartender had BOTH sliding glass doors (no screens) open in the bar area causing swarms of flies to circle us our ENTIRE meal, in the dining area. Although friendly, our waitress said there were no specials that evening, after I specifically asked what the specials were. I overheard other waitresses telling patrons what the specials were, so I knew there WERE specials. The musty smell of the stained drapery needs to be replaced ASAP, as the odor hits you as soon as you get to the front door. Please be better and ACT like the "fine" dining restaurant you want to be! Very disappointed...The food is the ONLY thing worth coming to The Mansard for...We miss Steve!!“

“The food is good. You pay a premium price for it being so close to downtown. The location is the only thing justifying the price. I paid $90 for my spouse and I to have lunch on a Tuesday. Small queso, small margarita, veggie fajitas, a few tacos that we had to add sides to, waters.
Its one of the better options in the city. But I've had better Mexican food at multiple restaurants in the suburbs. I asked for no salt on my margarita- got tons of salt. Veggie fajitas had some unchewable pieces of broccoli stems and tomatoes that were reduced to skin and mush. Server said tacos were 2.50 for Tuesday, didn't tell us Asado tacos weren't included before or after ordering them. We felt rushed out of there despite it being empty, because they kept trying to take our food and drinks away before we were done.
Despite all of this, we've been here before and had a great time with a bill half that price and no pressure to hurry. Not sure what happened this time. But again, at least its one of the better options when you're stuck in the city.“

“We was in the buffalo area and was looking for a good pie. Figured we would check it out. Pizza was very good but the sauce was a little sweet for my liking. But if I was in the area again I would have it again.“

“In town for hockey tournament at river works, ordered on a thursday night right before close as we got into town late and they were one of the only spots open. Sacrilege to order 30 min or less before close and yet when I arrived at 1150pm on a 0 degree night, the gentleman behind the counter greeted us and handed us our food, I apologized for the last minute order and thanked him for taking it. He was genuinely nice and thanked us for the order. I don't want to tell the owner how to run their business. I grew up in it and understand completely how it sounds, but bartending and serving most of my life to not have a tip option, it is just an option. I wouldnt be here without the generosity my dad's customers paid me so I would love to see this added. The food was amazing so much so we ordered again today and this time I brought extra cash to tip for the other night and today, and thanked the gentleman again for his service the other night. I lived in philly for 2 years tried all the best spots, Jim's is right up there with them if not better quality. I apologize I don't have pictures of the food, its because it was devoured by the time we got back to the hotel at lecom, we'll done Jim and most importantly the crew that makes it all go, we will definitely be back!“

“Jeff did an amazing job taking our orders. Friendliest person ever. He talked about the chikle after I ordered one and it was as he said amazing. He does a great job can't say that enough wish I could afford to tip. The food was amazing. Way better food and environment than taco bell. I wish we had one of these where we live.

“Awesome food every time. Not just the pizza, all of it is delicious and prepared perfectly. Fair prices, as much as can be expected these days. Nice people, always happy and quick to take care of you. Clean bathroom with hot water and good soap and paper towel dispensers. What more can you ask for?“

“Food was hot, delicious and plentiful. Prices are reasonable. The location was great for people watching. My only criticism is that they serve the sloppiest tacos anywhere. They don't drain the taco meat before slopping it on the tortilla so the juice gets everywhere.“
