“The quintessential neighborhood bar. Lot's of regulars that work in the trades/union members. Good-natured banter all around.As a woman in a predominantly male bar, I was included in the conversation, and had a great time. The bartender went out of her way to recommend good places to eat and she felt like an old friend. Love her!“

“The comedian was super funny. The MC and the opening act were good as well. Service was quick and the food was tasty. The drinks are great! My cousin ordered the shrimp basket. She wasn't a fan. She said there was more breading than shrimp. The spinach dip was a hit! The chips were fresh a little on the salty side for me but I don't like a lot of salt. The burgers and wings were good too.“

“Been here a couple of times. Once on a date night Thursday with my wife, another time for birthday party on a Saturday night with DJ C Natryl. He created a sick vibe. Can't wait to come back to hear him play again!! Nice little room that really is a gem. :)“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Tap Room (Patchogue) (specifically the Patchogue location). We were invited to a family party, buffet-style. I reached out to the restaurant via email, because I wanted to make sure they could accommodate my daughters food allergies -- eggs, soy, sunflower seeds, tree nuts and peanuts, or I would plan ahead and pack snacks she could safely eat instead. The Culinary Director, Joseph Walsh, called me the next day. He spoke to me for awhile, went over her food allergies, made some suggestions, and assured me that he would come up with something she could safely eat. The morning of the party, he sent me an email to confirm we were coming and his suggestions for a safe meal (rice and beans sauteed with bell peppers, chicken cutlet w/ no egg, and a mixed fruit salad). I emailed him back that just rice and beans and the fruit salad would be fine, because she doesn't eat chicken. He emailed me back, concerned that rice and beans and a fruit salad wouldn't be enough, but I assured him it would be fine because she's only 7 and has anxiety over trying new foods at restaurants (understandably), so sticking with rice and beans and fruit salad, which she's comfortable with, would be perfect. At the event, Joseph told my relative that he wanted to talk to us, and when we arrived, he came to introduce himself, told me that he was making sure everything was prepared separately and would be ready for her shortly. Absolutely fantastic service. We truly, truly appreciated all his care and effort, because that's sadly not the norm most of the time when we try to eat out. “We had many parties at Katie’s . Staff was exceptional and took care of everything for me . Brian made sure I had everything I asked for right down to specific music I wanted played and always helped make things perfect. Very reasonably priced and very hard working staff. “My boyfriend celebrated his 30th birthday in Foley's and it was amazing! We all had a blast! Manager Stacy was very helpful, nice and accommodating (especially with time, date & the menu) Her staff was very friendly and on point with serving drinks. Atmosphere was clean, fun and upbeat. The place is spacious and had 2 pool tables, a few dart boards and quick draw. It was so much fun and our guests loved it. The Speakeasy downstairs was so beautiful and private. Food was delicious as well. Thank you Stacy and your team for this excellent experience!“

“Lived near this place and drove past it a million times for 10 yrs now... never went in. My hubby has with friends a few times. Wanted to get a bite so I suggested going there... glad we did! “I go there when Priscilla is there because the 1st time I went there she was amazing and made me feel like one of their own right away. I gave 5 stars for food because they let you order in and theres free food most of the time on fridays when I go. When i stay late theres always a good band or DJ. Definitely worth checking out!!“

“Lost for words.Welconed from the moment I walked in and opened my mouth.Being from Liverpool UK. The conversation went from music to history and everything in-between. Th customers here are far from beyond exceptional.Bobby fhe maintenance, bouncer, plumber, bar attended helper. The guy with a heart of stone. He knows a bot about everything and a gem in a pub for visitors. Thana you.Mario is another gem, bit of a wild card, not a cig, and he will make you laugh all night. “Came here on a whim the other night and had an amazing time. The people here were so friendly and kind. The bartender Sue (lol idk how to spell it) she was a gem helped me feel really comfortable. The drinks were reasonably priced. The people here take pool seriously though so bring your game face. Parking was easy & I suggest paying & tipping with cash.
