Andy kept everything running smoothly and my bridal attendant was ready for everything! She even sewed my bustle when it wouldn’t sit correctly! The food was delicious, we found all of our vendors from their vendor showcase, and our wedding attendants saw to every need we had. “I absolutely loved my wedding at Smithtown Landing Country Club. The venue is beautiful and has different options for spaces to use. I was able to have my ceremony outdoors on November 1st and it’s such a nice space. Nicole made the process so smooth and easy. She was always available to answer any questions. I felt at ease on my wedding day knowing she was there to handle anything that came up. When an issue did arise (I mistakenly ordered less centerpieces than tables I had) Nicole took care of it and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. She was such a pleasure to work with and she is amazing at her job. Lacey was also the most amazing bridal attendant. At first I didn’t think I was going to need a bridal attendant but I quickly realized how much I needed her. Lacey went above and beyond to make sure I had anything I needed that day. She also took care of me in making sure I had time for a break when I was getting tired after pictures and making sure my husband and I ate at the wedding. Also she’s just a fun, genuine person who loves her job. She made an impression on everyone and now she’s coming for Thanksgiving haha! I would highly recommend this venue. It was the perfect day and better than I could have ever imagined!“

“My wife and I hired Anthony based on recommendation for our backyard wedding. He had us tell him our favorite foods, foods we didn’t like and created a custom menu for us. Personal pizza buffet and charcuterie table for reception was a giant hit. The tight space he had to set up the kitchen in did not prevent him from making the most delicious menu for us! The guests would not stop talking about how the food was so different from any other wedding because it was actually what people would eat from a restaurant and enjoy eating at that. I have zero complaints he knows what he’s doing and is very friendly and professional“

“I must have drove past this place over a hundred times. Came to try i out and was blown away. I got a combo over salad. The sauces are homemade, everything was fresh and delicious. The owner was really nice. Also they has mango lassi. It was the first time ive seen on a halal truck and it was some of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend. “Just left Roccos Pizza and had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Pete. He’s an absolutely gentleman and I wish him and the new pizzeria plenty of luck. I just say that the place was immaculately clean and has an old school Italy feel to it. Tried the Drunken Grandma Pie and it was delicious! It clearly has a homemade sauce and was made with the freshest of ingredients. They also have a great family meal deal where you get a pie, a dozen knots and a dozen wings. “I’m writing this review because places like this genuinely deserve recognition, and I want more people to support a business that clearly cares about its customers.

For about a year now, I’ve been going to the West Islip library to study (I’m a student at Suffolk County Community College). I live in Deer Park, and the Deer Park library just doesn’t compare—it’s not a great environment. West Islip is quiet, comfortable, and actually lets me focus. On the way there, I’ve passed this deli countless times and never bothered going in.

A couple months ago, I noticed they had burgers on the sign, which made me think they probably had more variety than just typical deli sandwiches. Today, after class, I was craving a bacon, egg, and cheese and decided—on a whim at a red light—to finally stop in instead of going somewhere else.

Right away, I could tell this place was different. They had CALPICO and RAMUNE in multiple flavors, plus a variety of ramen and Asian snacks. That’s not something you usually see in a deli, and it immediately stood out to me.

But what really made this place unforgettable was the service.

It’s run by what seems like an older Korean couple, and they were some of the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met in any food spot. Not the usual rushed, impatient “what do you want?” kind of interaction you sometimes get at delis. They greeted me warmly and made me feel completely comfortable—like I was being welcomed into someone’s home.

When I grabbed a room-temperature drink, they immediately told me they had cold ones, walked me over to the fridge, and helped me pick a flavor. They even took the warm one from my hand to put it back for me. It was such a simple moment, but it showed how much they genuinely care.

For context, I study culinary arts and I’m currently trying to get into the food industry, so I pay attention to service and how businesses are run. This is exactly how it should be done. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in their business.

The food was great too. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese with hot sauce and ketchup, and the hot sauce was different from the usual—in a really good way. It wasn’t just thrown together; it felt like they actually cared about making it right.

I walked in feeling kind of down—it was just one of those Mondays—but I left in a completely different mood. Hours later, I’m still thinking about how kind they were.

I’m not even exaggerating when I say this—I would take a bullet for these people. That’s how genuinely good they were to me. If they were hiring, I would work for them in a heartbeat and stay there as long as the place exists. I truly want nothing but success for them.

The total came out to about $17, but that included two imported drinks, so it makes sense. And honestly, I don’t regret it at all. I’d gladly spend my money here again.

This is officially my new go-to spot every time I go to the library. I’d rather come here than go to Dunkin’, 7-Eleven, or anywhere else.

I love this place. I mean that seriously. Even if I’m not getting a full meal, I’d go out of my way just to grab a drink or a bag of chips to support them.

If you’re anywhere near West Islip, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Businesses like this deserve to succeed.“

I decided to ask the staff for recommendations on their most popular slices, and it was the best decision I’ve made. I love their pizza; it’s fantastic, with a crunchy bread that’s not too oily. “We used Roadhouse Empanadas as an exit station at our wedding, and it was probably the best decision we made about the entire wedding planning process. From start to finish Lisa was absolutely amazing to work with and they were so accommodating, especially considering we decided to use them only 3 weeks before our wedding!!! The food was amazing and our guests still ask how we found them because they want more empanadas!! They are a must book, you will not regret your decision!!!!“

“The Off-Premise Catering team at Lessings went above and beyond to make our wedding the best it could possibly be. My family and I were blown away by the efforts of Steve, Estee, Barbara, and the rest of the team. Making arrangements was a breeze, and from the second I met Steve, I felt so much more at ease about planning The Big Day. Our off-premise venue meant our wedding would mostly take place outdoors, so I had a lot of concerns regarding bad weather. Steve and the team have seen it all, and their experience assured me that they would make it a great party regardless of any foul weather – and that proved to be true. When the wind and rain hit our wedding, they were all prepared and it turned out not to be a big deal.

Not only did Lessing’s make planning the wedding so much easier, but they did an outstanding job on The Big Day. The food was absolutely incredible – I couldn’t believe it was from an off-site kitchen! The staff’s attention to detail was very impressive and everyone was so kind and seemed to genuinely want the day to be the best it could be.
