“Bife a Portuguesa and shrimp in garlic were excellent, as was the bread (from a Portuguese bakery in NJ). Who knew there was good Portuguese food so much closer than the Ironbound? Service was solid and friendly. You can eat at the bar and a few tables in the front, which I recommend doing, as the back room is a bit claustrophobic. They really need to update the prices on their menu in Google Maps, however, as they have doubled.“

“We came to this place for the second time. Today my husband tried a piece of chicken ranch and a bun with sausage. It was delicious and smelled very appetizing. The pizza's titch is very crispy and not burnt like in other places. The institution has a toilet for both women and men.“

“Excellent pizzas--the best in the county. With some really creative combinations. And the salads and other dishes that we have tried have been quite good as well. There is obviously someone very talented in charge of the food here. Service is good. The staff is friendly and attentive. My only complaint is that the lights are always turned up to last call brightness, and the charm of the exterior of the old farmhouse is not matched in its no-frills interior. Even so, great place.“

“I stopped by on a whim on my way back home. I walked in there were 3 guys working there. I hate to forget names but I remembered Chris. They screw is funny and made my first trip there a good one. The sandwich (eggplant wrap with mozzarella cheese, lettuce) was so good. Eggplant is especially hard to make it the way I like it. I will definitely come back. I loved the attitude everyone had. The rose hibiscus iced tea was more phenomenal than words can say. I’m definitely going back. It’s like if you took Chipotle and made it really nice and way better!
