“The Cuban sandwich with 2 sides Is so delicious I Have been craving it for over ten years now since I Moved Out of town And I have never been disappointed by anything That I have ever had there and I was literally a regular customer there for over five years in a row I was just so hungry and I had to make it my daily lunch break Order and it was so good to have a seat at one of the tables and Take my lunch break and enjoy my lunch break with a leisurely seat at a little table. By the soda fridge and then I was done eating lunch and I had cooled off enough to get back to my work and finish for the day and then I went home with my full belly And complete satisfaction with my lunch and what I ate. I have been recommending this As the best BBQ place for miles and now It’s become a very popular destination among the friends and family who have taken my recommendations. “My older family members came to NY to visit from Chicago. I went to order 5 Dinner plates for the family that were visiting and 3 more, for myself, partner and my mom. When I return wit food, we all began to eat. NONE OF US WAS SATISFIED! POTATO SALAD WAS PRETTY OK. THE MAC N CHEESE, HORRIBLE! THE MACARONI SALAD, WATERY AND DISGUSTING AF, NO TUNA ADDED. COLLARD GREENS , NOT SEASONED LIKE REAL BLK SOUL TASTE.. NASTY! UNLESS PPL ARE USE TO EATING BLAND AND OR NOT REAL BLACK PPL COOKING.“

“I came on a Saturday for lunch with a friend and there was no wait. I was surprised at the quality and variety considering this is $40 Ayce. My favorite was the Tom Yom soup, steamed eggs, spicy beef and the mango sticky rice! My only complaint is that 90 minute is short between the time you take to choose your food and grill it. At the end you can get a gatcha (1 per table). We got a free mouthwash which was pretty random Overall I am definitely planning to come back and take friends here!“

“Smoke and Barrel is a restaurant and bar. When you are inside you can admire the beautiful decor. The food is outstanding especially the brisket. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. This is by far the best restaurant I've ever seen in a long time.“

“I grew up in Elmhurst and getting skewers at this neighborhood staple as a snack was always a treat I looked forward to. Now, I’m happy that we can buy as many skewers as we dare (before we pass the threshold of waking up with a sore throat the next morning).This Chinese BBQ skewer cart is a no-frills, mom and pop food stand on the corner of Whitney Ave & Broadway by the LIRR tracks. Most of their skewers cost between $2-$3; they’re perfect for a late night eats adventure! The seasoning the sweet Chinese couple uses has just the right amount of cumin, heat, and spice. We sat at one of their 3 tables this past Monday evening and saw a steady stream of customers lining up for their grilled skewers. When all 3 tables were full, a 4th table and set of stools was set up as well. The cart is at their spot daily between 5:30pm-1:30am - you’ll find them if you see the smoke!? “Really great Chinese style bbq you can get at the middle of night, me and my friends visited flushing to have the best Chinese food experience, and this bbq stand did not fail us, we ordered 15 chicken skewers, 15 lamb, 4 oyster. All of them taste amazing, each skewers is like idk, 1 dollar and a half. Snd that's cheap compared to other stands.
If you wanna try to get a Chinese skewer in other states, they will charge you $2 and the portion will be very disappointing.
If you are happened to be in Flushing and very hungry at night, come to this street and get some skewer, ain't no way you will leave and still hungry.“

“I haven’t eaten at this place in a good 5 years, but the two times I ordered food from there in 2018 and 2019 it was pretty good. The first thing I had from there was a Ribeye and Fries, steak was tender and almost reminded me of the steak you get from Outback and the fries were crispy. The fried chicken while it was a bit light in color was also good. It’s overall a good place if you want to dine in a place with a 1970s vibe, or if you just want to boogie down with local neighborhood folk on Saturday nights. Definitely I would recommend this place.“

“I brought a group of 6 guys here and we enjoyed all the food. This is a lovely place.
More importantly, the people who work here are kind. I tripped down the stairs next door and was bleeding from a deep cut in my hand. Someone who works here - I think he said his name was Ben? - immediately rushed outside, helped me pick up my things, pulled me into the restaurant's washroom, and dressed my wound. I couldn't believe it. Thank you so much for your kindness.“

“Came with my boyfriend whos been here multiple times and said it was delicious, and he wasn’t wrong. We got chicken, squid, chinese sausage, ricecake, shrimp, and beef skewers that were ALL amazing. HIGHLY recommend the spicy powder on any skewer you order. I have low tolerance for spice, but it was just a small kick for a couple seconds. I will be coming here way more often, I found my favorite food spot for late night snacks.“

“This place is THE place to go!!! We get food here almost every other week, we know almost all of the servers and they know our go to. Not only at this location but the Long Island location as well. The service is amazing, fast, and customizable as there are different menus for everyone. The sides are delicious and the meats as well, try everything should be the motto for this place because there is a dish you will fall in love with like we have. I don’t know if the reviews that say the service is bad are because there is no place to complain, or because they are malicious comments about business wars. How can any store run by Northeasterners be unenthusiastic?
1. It tastes good. You can just eat the three delicacies here. It’s so delicious that I feel like I’ll be back in China instantly. The cold chicken rack is so sweet and authentic. The small skewers are delicious. It’s not spicy enough and they thoughtfully gave me more chili powder.
2. The portion is large. Two people ate for less than 200 including tips. If they couldn’t eat it, they packed it for breakfast and lunch the next day. 200 can eat three meals, which is still enough to fill you up.
3. The service is good. When ordering, the waiter warned you that you may not be able to finish your meal. After that, the drinks were served very enthusiastically and quickly when changing tables. If you have any requests, you immediately agree to them and can also chat with you.

“I went here with a group of friends. It is a small intimate bar. They occasionally have a kitchen that serves homemade dishes. Lots of inexpensive bottles of icy cold beers, as well as mixed drinks. There is a pool table and a dart board, music from cd's. I had fun but I knew a lot of people in the bar. Very friendly staff. They also have "guest bartender night". A frequent patron acts like the bartender for the evening.“
