“A great beer hall with a selection of classic food. We love coming here, it’s one of the best places to drink in Astoria. It gets a little hot and crowded in summer, but it’s a delightful visit. When the tap lines are freshly cleaned, they can also put some exceptional beers out - they are one of the few spots with Czechvar in the city. If you have a sporting event you wanna watch or you just wanna hang out with friends, it’s a good shout!“

“What I recommend about said establishment is just about everything for a long time. One new & special edition is a self portrait of one of the owners Zach Mack. Though the man’s name would imply neon electricity it’s much more tame than that. Food for thought it said artist decides to do another.“

“The atmosphere and service were outstanding. We only went for desert and coffee. The chocolate cake was amazing. A couple we vacationed with has eaten dinner there 2 nights before and said how amazing the food was. One of the staff members even gave us a personal tour and history of the building. Will be back to Brooklyn and will definitely come back.“

“I came here after dinner for a few beers. It was early on a Friday night but the place was already packed. I couldn't find a spot at the bar to sit or any of the tables so I just stood off out of people's way. I saw someone who sort of looked like Kyle Mooney but I'm pretty sure it wasn't him. They have lawn games to play inside. As it's an old warehouse, there's enough space. Overall a place with good vibes.“

“Nice spot but the are very slow with the cuttas and they are good people. For $5 someone order something on my tab and I had already paid all the bills and they asked for it. Felt that was not necessary but I paid it. After spending so much they should have let that slide or reach out to me next time.“

“I recently watched the US Open final at the Biergarten, and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. The energy of the crowd, combined with the classic Biergarten setting, made for an unforgettable viewing experience. The venue was well-equipped to handle the large crowd, and the service was surprisingly efficient considering how busy it was. While the beer selection is the main draw, they also offer a decent range of food options to keep you fueled throughout the match. If you're looking for a lively spot to catch a game with friends, the Biergarten is definitely worth checking out. Be prepared for a potentially crowded and loud environment, but that's part of what makes it so much fun.“

“Great neighborhood bar. I was in town for a few days and ducked in for a quick drink. I met some awesome local folks - Ona, Jason, and Adam were so much fun! The food was good for a bar, the bourbon was reasonably priced, the service from the bartender was just right and the atmosphere was more than I was expecting - a fun, chill, no frills bar was just what I was looking for. I left feeling that I truly do have A Wonderful Life. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in NYC!“

“Delicious skewers - I recommend the lamb, tteokbokki, pineapple sausage, and squid legs. Friendly and attentive staff, knowledgeable of menu items. Great place to go with medium - large groups of friends. Very clean and food overall is perfect to enjoy over drinks and conversation. Had live music the night we came here.“

“Been there a few times. I must say food is fantastic!!! The fish tacos and the southwestern chicken sandwich is a must try. They have different specials everyday. Friendly atmosphere, service is very attentive. Love trivia nights and live music on Saturdays. So far is my favorite place to go with friends and family. Great spot for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Highly recommended!!“
