“This restaurant was on my list for a while and was happy to finally stumble upon it. Our waiter Johnathan was great, witty, and knowledgeable. We had the draft beer, esquites, tacos de Barbacoa, duck mole, and the pastry/hot chocolate dessert. Food was balanced and delicious. If I had to be critical for this restaurant to reach its peak success- I would say the mole did not come out as hot as it could have (was just slightly warm) and the tacos de barbacoa could have used more balancing and freshness to it. Would definitely recommend and come back“

“Literally one the tastiest places I’ve been in NYC and I’ve been plenty of times and have had a lot of food. The potion size was amazing and the flavors were on point. I still think of the rice to this day! Most certainly a must try.“

“Came all the way from Brooklyn to go to the Bronx Zoo and found this amazing restaurant to go to afterwards. The ambiance is chic, rustic and cozy. The food is absolutely delicious. The fried calamari was perfectly fried, the lobster ravioli was soooo yummy, and I enjoyed the pepperoni hot honey pizza as well. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. My passion fruit margarita was really good too, as were the espresso martini, cheesecake and pistachio ice cream. I highly recommend this hidden gem and will definitely return next time I’m in the area.“

“Chill location in Bronx, near Arthur Ave.
Tacos were perfect, frozen margarita were from another league and churros were amazing.
To add, service was fast and you always feel like your being served by a relative and not a stranger.
To add it all, pricing is a great value with respect to quality and service.
100% would come back“

“Checked out Drips on a Wednesday evening for happy hour which lasts all day. I loved the space. It’s small inside, but gives upscale vibes. They have a mix of high chair and regular seating. They were playing RnB hits all night which was great when the drinks kicked in. Everything for happy hour is approximately $6-$8 so I tried the Sweet Chili wings and passionfruit lemon drop. The wings were crispy and fresh! This was my first time having a lemon drop and the flavor was delicious. I also tried the Mango Lemon drop too. I would recommend either! Service isn’t speedy, but it is not terrible. You have good music, great ambiance and drinks.“

“Wife and I flew into JFK late one Friday. We were famished , it was 1030 by the time we got to Arthur Ave.. We parked and walked , came upon people eating alfresco. We asked if any place was still serving. The "MAN" Vic asked what we would like, from one of the tables. In no time we had a bottle of Vino Tinto in front of us and people were making us try food they were dining on. I felt like I was at my friends ,' THE PIAZZAS " house. The food was excellent and the people better. Can not wait to go back !“

“Thankful for new ownership, new name and new and totally different vibe. A total 180 degrees from the racial experience I had, some years back, in the previously-named Jimmy Ryan's Pub! (a patron I had conversation with had a similar past experience!). Saw local Bronx artist Brian Durieux and his band, on a recent Friday night. I like his band, and the atmosphere was jumping! Even got not one, but two Stellas on the house! I'm thankful for the change and I'm thankful for the new and improved treatment!“

“Food bang average. Hospitality was great though. About ten free shots with the staff - all intoxicated and having a nice party - led to an even better tip. Can’t wait for my next visit although the hangover I can do without. Hasta luego“

“I celebrated my birthday brunch here and it was absolutely unforgettable. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively, with an incredible DJ who kept the energy high and the crowd moving. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and served in generous portions that left everyone satisfied. This spot is truly a gem, and I can’t wait to come back again and again!“

“It’s been a while since I’ve been to Mama Sushi, but they did not disappoint! Happy hour was great—the margaritas were on point. The sushi was, of course, amazing, and the shrimp tacos were mad good! I’ll definitely be back. Big shout out to the free valet too, because parking was definitely impossible.“

“The DJ at Last Stop Bar & Grill deserves a serious shoutout! This person has a truly keen ear for good music—the mix was absolute fire and kept the energy high all night. If you're looking for a loud, vibrant party atmosphere, this is definitely the place for you.
On the food front, the Chicken and Waffles were absolutely delicious—crispy, savory, and sweet perfection. My brother also really enjoyed that they serve hookah.
Now for the constructive criticism: while the vibe is great, the music is extremely loud, so be prepared for a high decibel night. More importantly, the pricing for the drinks outside of happy hour is ridiculously high for the small size you receive. I also found the pictures of the drinks on their digital menu to be quite deceiving in terms of actual size and presentation.
Overall: Great music, excellent chicken & waffles, and a fun party spot (with hookah!), but be mindful of the noise level and the non-happy hour drink prices/sizes.“

“This past Monday, my friend and went to 161 Bar and Grille a few hours before a Yankee game. This was was the first I had been to the place, and everything was great. The food was amazing and our waitress Joanna was very knowledgeable about the food and had a great sense of humor and also had a great personality, she made what was already a great experience dining here even better. I hope to return to eat here when I see another Yankee game.“

“Food is great! This is me and my friends second time going there for the same meal. We always get the platter that comes with Tostones, Mozzarella sticks, Chicken Croquettes, Pastelitos, and Wings. It is sooo bomb! $30 on a happy hour day, which is everyday, plus its one of the few places in the Bronx that do happy hour late. Everytime me and my friends go, there are barely people there, maybe it’s fun on the weekends or at night … not sure, but we went on a Monday, then again on a Friday, literally only 2-3 other tables active. Service is okay. I always notice the workers are doing hookah with another table and barely paying attention to their tables, she did come a couple times asking us if we were good and food didn’t take that long to come. The atmosphere is great, looks super nice in there, they upgraded their seats, the outside area is very weary tho, dark, no one in the area, wouldn’t suggest you standing outside the place for any reason, call your Uber inside and don’t come out til its there because the area isn’t that good.“

“An Absolute Gem for Seafood Lovers Shaking Crab is hands-down one of the best seafood spots I’ve been to in a long time! The food is flavorful, fresh, and served piping hot. I ordered the crab combo with their signature shaking sauce (medium spice), and every bite was packed with bold, buttery, garlicky goodness. The seasoning is just right—savory with a little kick that doesn’t overpower the natural flavor of the seafood.
The Christy was so friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in. Christy herself made sure our experience was top-notch, which really added a personal touch to the meal. The vibe of the place is fun, casual, and perfect for a seafood feast with friends or family.“
