“This was a celebratory gathering for a colleague's birthday. The bar setting wasn't quite a vibe I enduldge in regularly but if you're looking for a place to socialize, drink and watch sports. This place has it all going at once.
My most favorite aspect was the food. For a social sports bar. I was pleasantly surprised at food options offered. I am a vegan, keto, vegetarian 🥵 yes I know! Its a mouthful but my allergies call for a specific diet to maintain optimum health. I digress, they offered 3 types of French fries, Buffalo cauliflower, sautéed garlic broccoli. All fit me narrow feeding needs. So need a place for a diverse dining?? This is a great store to try out“

“Our server Albert L was amazing. We went there for a birthday and he provided us with an amazing experience and made the birthday girl and the entire party feel special. If you get him as a server you are sure to have a beautiful experience and if the experience wasn’t enough the food and atmosphere were just as amazing.“

“Ropa Vieja has definitely hit the spot, service is great but they need to invest in new speakers for the music it's so loud coming from the corner, but if speakers were spread out along the perimeter the great music could be played without giving you a migraine when you leave.
Otherwise all else is great the food and staff!👍“

“What a gem. This cozy restaurant has everything I needed after a long day. The staff is friendly and polite. The space is comfortable - not too fancy and not too casual. Most importantly- the FOOD. The Salad Tropical was the most delicious salad I’ve had in my life - fresher than fresh with a unique and perfect blend of subtle flavors. I judge restaurants by their pork and the Lechon did not disappoint. Delicate flavorful seasoning complemented by tenderness. I will definitely remember this meal and recommend this place. Easily, I offer 5 stars.“

“Our first time at this restaurant, it's a quaint smaller restaurant, which is nice. It's an interesting menu with some Mexican and Italian flavors. My wife had their chicken dish, which was incredibly good. I had the short ribs which were extremely tender and flavorful.“

“I ate at this restaurant during my Christmas vacation visit to New York. It is fantastic! The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is so tasty. It was better than the big advertised restaurants. If you want a real delicious meal and some great music while you eat, go to this place. It's a hidden gem.“

“We had a great time here for my brother's birthday. Went at 6 on a Saturday and wasn't too crowded so food came out quickly and everyone was satisfied. I had the steak nachos and a mango mojito. Both were good! The decor is so nice. Would like to go again while the bands are playing.“

“Delicious dinner with great service & recommendations by our server, Justin. We really enjoyed the unique flavors of the Cuban Chinese fusion. Bonus that we arrived in time for their great happy hour. Enjoyed ropa veijas on tostones and Cuban sandwich egg rolls to start, followed by Bian Pao Salmon, Cuban Fried Rice, Ropa veijas noodles, and stir-fry cashew cauliflower. Topped it off with the best slice of tres leches we have ever had. Everyone loved all the items we ordered! Highly recommend!“

“The food was amazing had the Croquetas de jamón, empanadas de carne molida, and the pulled pork with garlic sauce which came with rice beans & plantains. The waiters were great & very attentive. Definitely looking forward to going back and trying some of the other dishes.“

Entrees were very good - only small complaint was I asked for ribeye to be cooked medium rare (closer to medium) but was delicious regardless. Services was outstanding- Rose was our server. “Everything was great, except the temperature of the food was colder than it should've been. The food came out very quickly so I don't think it was a matter of it sitting for too long in the kitchen. Nothing arrived at the table hot, but nothing was cold either. It was all on the colder side or warm to room temperature at best. The live music was great but extremely loud. I enjoyed it after accepting the fact that my party and I wouldn't be able to chat during our meal. We had a good time with the music so it was fine for us. I only mention it because I'm sure some people would find it to be too much and in that case consider going on a night with no live music. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant and recommended giving it a try“

“Some of the best empanadas and food for cheap here. Owners are hyper local and are super sweet. There could be a language barrier but for locals, its nonexistent. Super sweet.Right by the park

“I found this place through instagram and went in person had the sweet chilli wings and two empanadas, amazing! Loved it. Not a fan of the yuca fries they were a bit on the dry side but its always a hit or miss when it comes to Yuca / Yuca fries. The atmosphere was amazing, super clean place seems like a small family business loved seeing that. Truly recommend.“

“Great food and great service. The food reminds me of home and is reasonably priced. We keep coming back for the ox tail stew, ribs, beef steak, porkchops, dumplings and the boneless chicharonnes de pollo. Most meals are served with white or yellow rice and beans or vegetables. If you want to try something different, they have the beef liver and squid ink fried rice which remind me of squid ink Paella. The combination meals are a great option to try out different dishes. The staff and owners always greet you with a warm welcome.“

“I was amazed by "squid rice with shrimp". It's cooked with squid ink. There is no fishy taste at all but all the goodie including red pepper, green pepper oinion, pea and of course squid and shrimp. The drink is amazing. Be careful, they are very very strong! Owners and servers are super friendly as well.“

“The food here was pretty good. We had the paella and the arroz con Pollo. The first dish we ordered with chicken breasts were so tough. It was waayyyy over cooked. I could not even cut it with a knife. The service was good. The only issue was, when presented with the bill, the waitress high lighted the tip portion. As if we didn't see the calculations of how much 20 or 25 percent was. I found that tacky and distasteful. Please don't solicit tips, you'll get more that way.“

“Quaint spot in Soho, almost an institution. Small but lively dining room. One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. Service was excellent, they took us even though they were closing. The burrito was great and the BEST Mexican Corn in the city, always cooked perfectly. Would recommend against and again.“

“This place is one of the best places to have a healthy lunch in West New York. I am amazed that it doesn't have any review yet. I tried fish and also lunch specials twice out three times being there, I recommend fish and cow tail. A nice girl works there having very helpful attitude toward customers (unfortunately I don't remember her name but you will find her at lunch). You might have a little bit of problem communicating in english, but all of the times that I had lunch there, they prepared exactly what I meant. A meal size was more than enough for me and I am not skinny, unhealthy or anything. Did I mention the price? it is worth every penny.“

I used the automated screen and had to follow up for my order to be dispatched. Several clients came in after me and ordered with the cashier and their orders were expedited. “I kept telling myself I will go here one day as I have heard good things of this place. Today I went with a friend and I had the breaded chicken with yellow rice. I made a mistake on my order and put 3 sides as rice on the kiosk. Either way I enjoyed the food and told my friend we should come back tomorrow. I want to try the salmon and other options. It was a quiet place at the time we went and we was also able to catch up with work stuff. I look forward to going back.“

I am quite picky about how I like my coffee and I gave them instructions to make my coffee soft and with almond milk and they made it delicious, the young man always with a beautiful attitude I recommend that you come to eat here where there is a very pleasant and familiar atmosphere. “This was my least favorite visit. The waitress wasn't amazing. The food was really good, but it's usually amazing. I would say it was a lot busier than I'm used to, so I'm sure that is the reason. I've worked in the food and hospitality field for many years and understand that part now what I don't understand is during a busy night the waitress being on her phone chatting it up with a co-worker while I'm there trying to get some more drinksand service. That was really disappointing. I also saw other tables of hers waiting at that moment as well, but I guess when gratuity is automatically included, you don't have to wow the customer. All other visits. I've had great servers this time, and I was not pleased.“
