Food was amazing and rum punch was the best I ever had and staff was kind and professional. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 10 the bartender/waitress Samara is the best!!!!
Flavas Jamaican Restaurant is a gem for anyone seeking delicious comfort food. I recently tried their chicken empanadas, and they were outstanding. The crust was perfectly flaky, and the filling was seasoned to perfection. Owner Leroy always has a smile on his face and prepares every dish with love, making each visit a delightful experience. I just tried to attempt to go into this Lounge and as soon as I walked to the door the Lady shook her head and waved her hand as if I was somebody's child and said no then I asked may I come inside and order food to go she lets me in no hi hello welcome to Flavas then the the hostess at the front gives me attitude I said oh no let me take my money and spend it somewhere else and left I was so disgusted I will never be back!

Flava Of The Bronx is a delicious and friendly neighborhood spot tucked into 157th and Third Ave. The food is really good, with the lamb chops, salmon Rasta pasta, oxtail Mac, and Mac and cheese all seasoned very well. The oxtail is tender and flavorful, and the codfish fritters are so good. The rum punch is great and flows freely during the bottomless hour. The owner is so kind and wants customers to have a great experience. The service is amazing, with kind and attentive servers who take care of every table. The weekend vibe is there with good music, though it can be a touch too loud to talk. Happy hour is 10/10. It is a nice spot for weekend vibes to hang and drink with friends. A quick bite on a return visit showed big improvement with proper glassware. The bartender is awesome and really knows what she is doing. The staff is still hustling.
