Before the Covidnization, Golden City was another gem in the community.However, no longer is the food tasty: 1. The fried rice (no matter what variety) tastes of old oil; 2. The lomein is doughy & not appetizing; 3. They continue to keep food by their bathroom (see photos). Golden City is not the Chinese restaurant it was. So sad!However, the service is still customer friendly! Thre food simply stinks!
Squeezed between a pawn shop and medical office, this mega popular Chinese food hood spot draws crowds for their crispy- not soggy broccoli. I judge a Chinese takeout spot by their broccoli. And? These folks cook a variety of the typical egg rolls, chicken (or vegetable) lo mein, etc. So whether you're in the mood for that, Golden City will satisfy those cravings. When I don’t have time to cook returning home late from work and just feel like buying food from outside, I sure don’t think about it twice when buying in my local and only Chinese food restaurant near me.They’re very clean and so polite.I’ve never gotten sick from ordering there…. Food is delicious! ?
