I'm sorry to report that the Gun Hill Brewing Company, as of May 18th, 2024, has closed it's doors for good. I'm sure many of the local residents, myself included, are sorry to see them go, and they will surely be missed. Godspeed to all those responsible for all the happy years they gave to our neighborhood. R.I.P. Gun Hill Brewery.
Great spot and when I moved to the Bronx everyone here became like family. I will miss this spot and hope it reopens one day at another location. Thanks for the memories been coming here since 2022 or so. Definitely recommend if you see their beer some where u try it!

The Gun Hill Brewing Company was a beloved local brewery that offered an impressive selection of beers, including the popular Cannon Fodder lager and bourbon-cask-stored dark beers. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, created by the knowledgeable and friendly bartender, made it a favorite spot for locals to enjoy the local brews. While the brewery itself did not serve food, it occasionally hosted pop-up food vendors, such as a father-and-son BBQ team, adding to the lively and community-oriented experience. Sadly, the Gun Hill Brewing Company closed its doors in May 2024 after 10 years of service, leaving a void in the community that will be deeply missed by the locals and the Steady Cannon Club members.
