“I went to a family friend’s 70th birthday party they hosted in the Atlantic ballroom. The space was modern and very clean. The food was DELICIOUS!!! And the workers, Yiselle, Estrellita, and Shorty (blonde) made the event so memorable! They paid attention to every detail, whether it was filling our water cups, collecting unused plates and of course they did it all with a warm smile. They were kind, funny and very welcoming. I had a wonderful time! Thank you Yiselle, Estrellita and shorty!!!“

“Everything was so good. We ordered a variety - including their chicken, jalea (think fried seafood mix DONE RIGHT), empanadas, chaufa, and flan. I'm not a flan person, but this was THE BEST FLAN I've ever had.
The empanadas are baked, perfectly seasoned, and feel homemade with love. The owners were so attentive and thoughtful, giving us great recommendations. I would 100% be back.“

“I always come to this spot like more than I should like my wallet has/is hurting.

The food is delicious, the price is decent (has increased with everything in life) but you can get right with close to 10 bucks.

Maybe I'm biased since the food and the people that work there are from my country but they are very nice and friendly.

There is a seating area but most of the customers usually pickup. Don't eat in if you are not comfortable with troves of people coming in and out.

I consider this one of the best Dominican eateries in the Bronx, every time I get food anywhere else 9/10 times I am disappointed.

“Literally one the tastiest places I’ve been in NYC and I’ve been plenty of times and have had a lot of food. The potion size was amazing and the flavors were on point. I still think of the rice to this day! Most certainly a must try.“

“went to grab appetizers and drinks at this cute restaurant with a friend definitely impressed by the choices of appetizers on their menu! Most impressive one was definitely Arepa pa lo chamo. I was really excited to try the Burrata and guava however, I was not impressed. It didn’t really have a guava taste at all the food coloring made it seem like it was gonna be very flavorful however, it wasn’t as flavor as I was hoping for, however, still a very enjoyable tasty experience because the food was definitely exemplary. There were some things on the menu that I wanted to try, but didn’t didn’t get to due to them not serving it at the time when I went to visit overall it was a great atmosphere the one thing that I will say is that we definitely waited around a little to be recognized by the server that was working at the time but overall, it was a good experience. I don’t really have anything negative to say it’s very charming. Definitely a great place to grab food and some drinks. I will say that the appetizers were very enjoyable and it would be nice if they had a bigger quantity to them as we only did focus on appetizers during this sit down the drinks were also very good!😊“

“The food was delicious. We had 2 churrascos. The calamari was nice! The drinks, great. This place really needs to promote better. We came at 4 when it opened and we were the only customers until like 5ish. It took a while before we saw our server but once he did, the service was good.

“The food top notch; I mean top tier. The monfongo was prepared perfectly in a white sauce. The rice and beans were fresh and just how I like. Pork chops, juicy and fried to perfection. The food, never misses here. It was a bit loud for my old ears but that is probably more of a me issue above anything else. The waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. What more can you ask for?“

“I’ve never been , but would love to come again. Staff was billingual and I had a great lunch and it was a good piece for a lunch combo of rice bean and chicken . The chicken twist softly and the rice was soft and not overly salty or oily and just great food. They have low tables and bar. Maybe the bar stools are kinda small for other people but I liked the calm lighting too for a busy road. Good place to eat.“

“The BEST food always comes from those mom and pop joints. I’ve had Dominican food in so many places, this one by far beats them all in regards to flavor and price. I been a customer for over 20 years. The meats are always marinated and seasoned to perfection. The Moro is always on point. You could eat the beans ALONE, that’s how good they are. I always get the maduros and potato salad as sides to complete the meals. I highly recommend this place but in regards to location, this is the hood so come early in the daytime and bring CASH. “Cute, quaint place to go! Music was good. Went for dinner and drinks with my sister. I had the monfongo with steak and she had the red snapper. Both tasty and both a good choice! Dessert was pretty tasty as well. We chose the lava cake. Drinks were ok,but dinner was better .“

“I go to the salon that is next to the restaurant. I have never been to that restaurant. The salon is super good, they do beautiful nails and they wash your hair very well and they dry your hair magnificently. I recommend it, they are very attentive and the owner is very polite.“

Parking: if youre not local, its best to just uber or take the subway here. Not really worth getting your car messed up or waste time driving around to find parking.
