“It was Sunday and I always cook for my elderly dad and myself but this Sunday I was not in the mood to be over a hot stove. I went on the internet and saw rave reviews about Kadyah Soul and told myself I would give it a try. I ordered the Turkey Wings for Dad and Jerk Chicken for myself...long story short...It was the best ordered food I ever had and my dad was SUPER pleased and he is hard to please! I am ordering very soon again!“

“Oxtail was spoiled when I brought home. It wasn’t fresh and tasted like a refried oxtail from a previous day; funny taste. Customer service is okay, nothing to remember. Jamaican women aren’t always the friendliest ppl to deal with. I only go to this place as a convenience spot from the 5 train. I wouldn’t choose it as my go to!“

“All I have to say is whoever made the mashed potatoes tonight needs to make them from here on out. Any other time i've had them they were lumpy and bland tonight tho they were perfect! I'm a potato lover and I was very pleased for the first time with ya mashed potato's.“

For 5.50+tax Usually just get the original with just crab and egg. If you want a crunch go for the premiums. Affordable and delicious. I hope this place stays for a long time.“

“First time trying both the Chicken & Beef Doner Boxes.I was pleasantly surprised how GOOD everything was! The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. I highly recommend giving this a try ! We will definitely be return customers ! The ladies were quite helpful and informative about the food and it's history as well as super nice !“

- Koji marinated salmon: 7/10, pretty good!! The salmon was tender and not overcooked. Could be more flavorful tho. Mushrooms and pickled carrots were yummy. Sauce was meh, not much flavor. Would get again tho“

“We catered about $800 worth of food from superfood for a family&friends event and everything was a hit. People rushed to take leftovers home! They also gave us service of Large assortment of korean pancakes and I loved that! All the food is so well seasoned and so fresh. Bulgogi Beef, spicy pork, spicy noodles, fried chicken, kimbap, and more!! Definitely will be catering from here forever.

Also I saw the kitchen in the back and the entire operation is spotless. Very clean.“

“This is such a lovely spot. I first tried this spot many years ago. There used to be a Polish restaurant one block south of here, Neptune. We would go there and then come to brodo and grab a broth to go, often for my dad in the VA hospital up on 23 St. few places would sell you just broth.

I absolutely love the Hearth broth and you can add the ginger turmeric, which I highly recommend. I also ordered and tried the beef broth with ginger and turmeric, it was fine. Oddly enough, the hearth had a richer, beefier flavor than the beef did. It’s just a heartier flavor, I highly recommend it. I could easily pop over to enjoy a cup of broth in place of my daily coffee, it’s a similarly comfortable cup that travels well.“
