Takeout Restaurants in New York, NY

“I enjoyed the food I purchased at Yummy. The couple who runs this place are extremely nice. I ordered The Ninja. The portions are large. Many times this is achieved by an excessive amount of rice. However, that did not happen here. All the ingredients included in my order were well balanced. The selections are reasonably priced given the size of the portions. All orders are to go.“

“Excellent pizza, fast service. Be sure to try the HUGE mozzarella sticks“

“First time trying both the Chicken & Beef Doner Boxes.I was pleasantly surprised how GOOD everything was! The flavourful meats with fresh veggies and feta, with or without sauces, all combined with the unique bread is a great new dinning experience unlike anything else. I highly recommend giving this a try ! We will definitely be return customers ! The ladies were quite helpful and informative about the food and it's history as well as super nice !“

“Free lunch from work

- Koji marinated salmon: 7/10, pretty good!! The salmon was tender and not overcooked. Could be more flavorful tho. Mushrooms and pickled carrots were yummy. Sauce was meh, not much flavor. Would get again tho“

“This is such a lovely spot. I first tried this spot many years ago. There used to be a Polish restaurant one block south of here, Neptune. We would go there and then come to brodo and grab a broth to go, often for my dad in the VA hospital up on 23 St. few places would sell you just broth.

I absolutely love the Hearth broth and you can add the ginger turmeric, which I highly recommend. I also ordered and tried the beef broth with ginger and turmeric, it was fine. Oddly enough, the hearth had a richer, beefier flavor than the beef did. It’s just a heartier flavor, I highly recommend it. I could easily pop over to enjoy a cup of broth in place of my daily coffee, it’s a similarly comfortable cup that travels well.“

“Get here during the good weather to enjoy the outdoor lounge (soccer watching spot during world cups) feel but always come for the fresh delicious foods and tasty vegetable and meat salads. Roasted potatoes and garlic salad is to die for. Baked goods and coffee too!!! Owner and staff are very kind. Fantastic part of the neighborhood.“

“Got the lunch special to go. Great affordable healthy options. Tons of fresh food options. I personally order the chicken and got different sides to go with it. The chicken was great and so was the pasta and other sides I got. I highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for high quality food to go.“

“I bought some take away at Liverpool Street. I buy from wasabi a few times a month. In this occasion the 4 boxes I bought all had spoiled avocado and I had to throw them out. This was the first bad batch I ever bought and wasabi customer service was great and the store refunded me fully. So I can only say I will continue to buy“

“I began coming to this store when a family member died and I came into some MONEY...We're in the middle of the ghetto... Okay...These guys are chargin' "upper west side prices" (i.e - ?????????... FOR THE GHETTO! XD)Thing is... Yer gettin' "upper west side QUALITY" food there... And they have a CRAZY assortment of protein bars and like... "Healthy Snacks"....?"Dried seaweed snacks"... They got 'em & they're actually GOOD! (But don't try to live on them... An ENTIRE PACKET probably has ONE CALORIE.)I digress...Expensive... But worth it.Check out their fancy ice creams & gelatos...Yep... REAL Italian Gelato. They also make smoothies...And have cat food in the back.I'm too poor to come here but I do anyway...And spending money you can't afford? That's a higher rating than some... "Google-Star" can convey...You might notice... I gave 'em 4/5...That's right... That's philosophical...I argue that "perfection doesn't exist"...If you wanna' debate me & God on that subject...Then try their Strawberry-Banana-Smoothie...In a world full of ideals we never attain...That smoothie... MIGHT BE... "Perfect"...

Wheelchair accessibility: You can roll a wheelchair in there...And... If ya can't open the door...I bet a BUM will do it for ya...But he will be EXPECTING a dolla'Take his offer of the door-hold...NO DOLLA!Unless yer REALLY NICE...Meaning yer' "that guy" meaning:Leave New York...Or at LEAST Harlem.“

“I order office lunch for 60 employees every week and have historically used EZCater. Everyone should make the switch to ordering directly through Orbital Kitchen! The food is delicious, travels well, great portion sizes, there is something for everyone, and cheaper than other catering sites as you're ordering directly from them. Your employees and finance team will thank you.“

“Great taste l love it.“
