“this corner spot caught our eye at around 9 on a thursday with it’s red glow & cute sunken dining room that is visible from the street. the ambiance - warm and cozy. the service - quick and very personable. the bartender is awesome. the food & drink - perfect. got the spiked horchata drink n a birria res gordita, both amazing and still thinking about… ***the best fresh masa/tortillas pressed right before serving - all within view from the bar - dinner n a show. literally can’t say enough good things. excited to come back. :)“

“Those in the know won't worry to much about 5 leaves not being rated a 4.5 or higher, why you ask? Because it really doesn't matter when the ricotta pancakes are THAT FREAKING GOOD! Seriously every 3rd person orders those pancakes. They also have a great Mocha and black kale salad. If you're not in the mood for sweet fair try the moroccan scramble which is perfect for something light but filling. I got the BLAT on my first visit and it was also good. Now if you're there for dinner been warned the burger is quite filling but it will be worth it even if you gotta waddle home.“

“Nice environment, relaxing music, love the chicken sandwich and lamb Haneeth sandwich waffle fries are delicious I’m hooked on brown sugar cardemon iced coffee and service is always with a Smile no indoor seating yet but they do have limited outdoor seating a must try other foods and beverages available 😃“

“The food is incredible and service is top-notch! The staff is all friendly and patient—they operate like a family having a good time while also managing everything efficiently and smoothly as a team. I specifically have to give Miss Audrey her flowers. She was so very attentive and kind to my uncle, who needed assistance with ordering. The chicken was tender and flavorful, and the sides (crispy potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and green bean tomato salad) tasted better than some of the more upscale spots in NYC. Our jaws dropped when we tried the crullers, and we ended up coming back the next morning for breakfast. The coffee is fantastic too, and the vibe of the establishment is both cozy and clean. The line often goes out the door (although it does move quickly). The crullers are a must-try!“

“I stepped into Cafe Kitsune Bk it was bustling with good energy every guest was chatting, reading or enjoying a treat. I waited shortly for my turn to order and when it the time came the Baristas and Tashira in particular was super welcoming. Over all good vibes, the music playlist was fun. I ordered a mocha Latte it was delicious and also had the chili cheese palmier were delightful. The staff's suggestions were spot on ! I give this cafe 5 stars and will be visiting again when in town!!“

“After hearing great things about Land to Sea, we made the trip all the way from Long Island City—with our foster dog Mission in tow! The staff were so kind and even offered him ice water on a hot morning, which we really appreciated. We sat outside and were grateful for the shaded seating.

I had the roast pork bun and coconut bun—both were absolutely delicious! Perfectly chewy, moist, and full of authentic flavor.

Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

“Cotton Bean is an excellent place in that is a simple coffeeshop, without gimmicks , without expanding their offerings beyond what is reasonable. Its a reasonable place. A logical place. A small simple operation pumping out delicious coffees in a very nice clean shop with friendly staff. It’s wonderful. Its precisely what a coffeeshop should be. I’ve encountered 3 coffeeshops like this one, the other two being Gotham and Olas where the coffee is spectacular, the service wonderful and the shop simple. Could offering no wifi be the secret to the enchantment of these places. Perhaps.

“The Good Day Play Café is an amazing place to have your kid’s birthday party! We had our daughter’s birthday here: Mimi and her team took the time to listen to us and bring to life the theme we had in mind. The decorations were amazing! “The staff here are always super friendly, no matter what time of day you stop by, which definitely adds to the experience. However, it is on the pricier side compared to other local coffee spots like Variety. I paid $18 for a bacon (Canadian ham), egg, and cheese on focaccia. It was tasty, but honestly, not quite worth the price. The space is very small and can be uncomfortable waiting for food/drinks when there is more than three people inside.“

“I’ve been going here for ages and decided to give it five stars because I respect that it’s a solid neighborhood cafe with its own identity and rules, as well as very good coffee and friendly staff.

They’re not trying to be a coworking space and thats their prerogative! They never act unprofessional or unking. The only times I’ve seen them do that is in response to some of the bitter and whiny reviews on here, which honestly makes me like then more!“
