“Such a great spot! Not just because of the quality masa, delicious fillings, and casual atmosphere, but they also carry great agave spirits (I had some Amatiteña blanco during my last visit, and even the price point was... *Drum roll ... On point (Thank you! I'll let myself out).“

“My husband and i found this place after needing food from traveling. 1,000% recommend, the flavor combinations are delicious. I had a Vicky Velcro and a fresh squeezed OJ (pictured). He had the Madame and loved it! If in the area you have to check them out.“

“I am obsessed with Café Miguel's café de olla. I have been chasing the taste of that Mexican coffee since first trying it in Mexico City years ago, and theirs is incredible. The brunch line can be long, but it's worth it; the chilaquiles are delicious. I have no idea how they make so many different things so fast in that tiny, open air kitchen.“

“Wow… Their shrimp tempura rice ball was absolutely amazing, and I don’t even usually like sushi. The young lady working the cashier was so sweet and friendly. She even put on gloves and helped teach me how to properly open my rice ball. Don’t miss out on this little hole in the wall- I’ll definitely be back!“

“Just went to Mirror in the Woods for the second time since moving to the neighborhood, and it didn’t disappoint. The space is intimate and cozy, perfect for cold weather, with an excellent selection of fresh teas. The matcha white hot chocolate was outstanding, and we loved the tofu and mushroom entrée along with the avocado mochi bites. Beautiful presentation all around — truly 10/10. Already looking forward to our next visit.“
“This place is amazing! Their soft serve is so creamy, smooth and tasty! Made it into an affogato and it was 🧑🏻🍳💋. The staff here are also so friendly, highly recommend! Wish I lived closer so I could get it more often, but definitely a spot I’d go out of my way to go to with friends 🥰“

“Espresso drinks > drip coffee. As good as it gets in the area - minus the specialty places with third wave beans.
Great breakfast sandwiches — always piping hot, straight off the grill. Highly recommend - this is a local favorite for a reason.“
“Great little spot…cozy atmosphere and friendly and welcoming bar tender (Miss Barb’s son). It’s a coffee shop by day that transforms into a bar in the evening, which was a pleasant surprise. I wish they had beer on tap, but the selection of canned beers is solid. I’ll definitely be coming back. Also great vibes and music.“

“The tofu Bánh mì is delicious (get the jalapeños and sriracha!) and portion size is HUGE. 1/2 is basically the size of a normal full size sandwich. The green papaya salad was also bangin’ but I forgot to take a photo. The atmosphere of the place is extremely pleasant - so cozy and really a nice aesthetic. This is a different Bánh mì than any I’ve ever had before, and though it’s not quite authentic/traditional in taste or style, it’s unique and delicious anyway.“

“They operate out of a renovated RV with only outdoor seating from my observation. It's definitely a unique little spot, but don't expect too much. I enjoyed my coffee, and the service was awesome about informing me on vegan latte options!“

“I’ve never had the food (but I’m sure it’d be amazing!). The coffee on the other hand is great! I’ve been coming here for over 7 years. I have a standing Sunday appointment with my little sister (when I’m in town). I highly recommend!!! I want to give a special shoutout to Joshie & Ell who make the experience even better by being awesome baristas.“

“We were so charmed by Mozaik Cafe. The owner was an absolute delight, and it was a perfect stop on a cold day.
He made us a rose latte, which was delicious, and we had some baklava with it, which was exceptionally good.
No complaints at all, hugely recommended!“
“Padmores is hands down the best coffee shop in the neighborhood (of which there are MANY). The ambience of the shop is great, the staff are always incredibly pleasant, and the coffee and pastries are excellent.

“One of My Favorite Cafés
This place has such a great vibe—cozy, relaxed, and always welcoming. The baristas and staff are super friendly, and even the other customers make it feel like a little community. I stop by most mornings for my espresso, and it never disappoints. There are a bunch of cafés nearby, but the coffee here really stands out. Easily one of the best in the area!“

“Kind staff at Daytime who greeted regulars with conversation. I had an iced cortado which was just the right size. Also, I had a breakfast sandwich and was delighted that you can pick and choose some extra add ons. Grabbed an everything croissant that was yummy too but wish I had asked for it to be warmed up because it was a little on the cold side.“

“Really cute place! I had a Dulce Latte and it was delicious, perfectly sweet. The staff is very cool and sweet. I had a bite of French Toast too and it tasted sooo good!! The only downside is that the open kitchen does let out a greasy smell that ruins the otherwise perfect atmosphere, they should get better ventilation.“

“Amazing cafe. The food is stellar and it is located conveniently next to the train. We have lunch from this place every time we’re in Brooklyn. We order the cauliflower shawarma hummus bowl every time (vegan). It’s a perfect lunch portion, delicious and flavorful. Comes with cauliflower, cabbage, pickles, hummus, and warm, delicious bread. It’s a 10/10. Last visit we also tried the crispy cauliflower hummus bowl. It is also delicious! The cauliflower is deep fried and is tossed in a yummy sweet glaze. It’s spectacular but because it’s a bit more indulgent we wouldn’t get for lunch every time but is a must have if you like crispy, sweet fried cauliflower. We also tried the falafel (not vegan, has feta cheese) and it was good too.
It’s pricey for a bowl (around $40 for 2 bowls) for sure but we enjoy the food every time, it’s consistent, and high quality. We will go back again and again for our usual cauliflower shawarma bowl.“
“One of the best food places I’ve been to in NYC.
The biryani isn’t exactly like traditional Karachi biryani, but it comes surprisingly close. It has a nice balance of flavors and feels thoughtfully prepared. Overall, a great spot if you’re looking for something flavorful and different.“

“One of my favorite spots in Brooklyn!!! Amazing food and the best horchata I’ve ever had…especially a fan of the barista with the short hair and eyebrow piercing who is always so kind whenever they take my order! Also whoever is in charge of the music has great taste. Highly recommended :)“

“I discovered this place completely by accident — not through Google reviews, but simply while walking by and looking for something to grab for breakfast. And now, my absolute favorite bagel is right here.
The combination of flavors is incredible — I honestly haven’t found anything similar anywhere else. Everything tastes unique and perfectly balanced.
I also absolutely love their lavender latte, and the pistachio one is just as amazing. This spot has truly become one of my favorites!“

“Brought here by a friend who had nothing but good things to say. Like the concept and the portions are healthy—enough for leftovers if you’re not famished, but the pricing feels close to sit-down style restaurant (and here you are doing most of the service yourself). The quality and freshness was excellent and everything cooked well. For me, taste wise was a tad bland but I’d rather that than doused in obnoxious sauces. Went at a busy time and felt a little squished with a packed line at the bakery/register/store section (trying not to knock into things or people) and then a little wait for a table to free up. Got some pastries for the road which were delicious even cold.“

“An instant hall-of-fame spot in Bay Ridge from the first sip to the last bite, everything hits perfectly. The pistachio Spanish latte is a masterpiece: smooth, nutty, and just the right amount of sweet. Pair it with their za’atar and cheese croissant, and you’ve got a flavor combo that’s both comforting and unforgettable. Add to that the genuinely amazing service, and you’ll find yourself coming back again and again.“

“Lots of board games, events all the time and very price efficient memberships for regulars. The two private rooms have their own temperature regulation for different preferences and going solo is an option because there’s usually staff open to playing with you, though I highly suggest bringing friends. I like their drinks :)“
