I bought ribs, chicken wings and fries & 1/2 chicken with shrimp fried rice. I asked for the wing to be fried soft they were old & just reheated. I didn't ask for old food.
I don't know why or how this place has so many bad reviews but it's very suspicious. I've been to MANY Chinese places in this city and this is one of the best. All the classic dishes are at least as good, if not better than most places. BUT... The fried chicken is the bomb! More than half their business is fried chicken. The only thing I can say is I remember when China Star came to Starrett City 25 years ago. The food was more on point at that time. Since then all they have done is take short cuts on the way they deliver a dish. Case point is when after a long time I decided to visit the location for a meal and hoped that they went back to following recipes the correct way.
