“I have enjoyed eating at Aurora many times since 2010 with my wife, friends and family.The food and service is always consistently good. But when I went this week, I found myself disappointed that they did not serve bread. The waiter told be they do not do it anymore with no explanation. It may be a small thing, but it was significant for me.“

“We were hungry while in the area and also wanted to check out the market as well. While perusing, Jacob's Pickles caught our eye. We came on a busy weekend so it was hard to find seating. The food took a bit of time as well (likely given how busy the whole place was). Overall the food was good but maybe a bit overpriced? Still enjoyed the experience!“

“I came to Bay Ridge in Brooklyn to see my boyfriend for Lunar New Year, and I heard that it had a Google rating of 4.8 and that it was a good local restaurant, so as soon as I came to the US, I came for brunch the next morning!

The atmosphere inside the store was really nice and the server was really friendly haha. Not the stew in the picture, but the sausage jam egg next to it? The menu looked delicious on Instagram, so I looked it up and showed it to them. They said it wasn't on the menu, but they could make it, so I tried it with anticipation.

But why is it so delicious🫢🥹 It's like risotto, but the sausage is slightly sweet and pickled, and at the same time, it's scooped up and eaten with the scent of spinach. It's really delicious. It's a bit like porridge if you think of it as a Korean food, but it's a really delicious porridge. The stew on the side is also good. Of course it was really delicious..!

And since there is no pistachio latte in Korea, I was so curious that I ordered it, and I knew for sure that this is what real pistachio tastes like. The combination with espresso is amazing and the latte art is the best👍

I will go again if I can during my stay!

“Unfortunately I was a little too late to try their food, but one look around the room, it seemed like everyone who had food was enjoying it. I hear the wings are on the spicier side so this is a fair warning. Also, one question on my mind was, ‘do they have natural wine?’ I did find out that they in fact do carry natural wine and it is delicious! Overall happy with my trip to Doublé !“

“Great bar to watch sports! It’s a standard dive bar. Prices are fine for Brooklyn. Came with friends for the Ohio State championship game. They had a lot of standard bar food. Their waffle fries were good, I’d skip the mozzarella sticks next time. Got some Jello shots at the end :)

“The food was phenomenal and they have the most amazingly long list of side dishes and vegetables. My dinner was the teriyaki salmon which I paired with garlic mashed potatoes and beets with feta and walnuts. It was so delicious! And the service was great, with a relaxing ambiance.“

“Great stand at Smorgasburg-the smokiness invites you in for a great kabob experience and it really is great one. You can get set small set (2 meats) a medium set or a large one and I got 2 lamb skewers and 3 chicken. The chicken is nicely seasoned; a nice balance of lemon, pepper and saltiness, I loved it the most and the lamb was a nice surprise. It was the freshest salmon I tasted and was on a bed of rice so healthy and still tasty! “Pass by this place all the time and never once tried it (no reason why I never did) but my brother ordered tenders a few days ago and they were phenomenal. Then he went to order again today and I looked at their menu. I requested a buffalo chicken cutlet sandwich on a roll. It was delicious!! Better than I expected for a place that doesn’t have much publicity. My brother also ordered Mac and cheese, fries and fried chicken. Lord. I had all of it. It was soooo good. I’m so glad I know about this place now. Definitely will be ordering often now!! I thought it would just be the tenders at first but no! It’s everything! So tasty!! “I ordered a deep fried turkey and lobster fried rice from Blossom’s and when I tell you there wasn’t anything left but bones and gristle. The turkey was seasoned and fried to perfection. The lobster fried rice was also a game changer!! You can’t go wrong ordering anything from their menu. I would like to thank Blossoms for making soul food great again. Last and certainly not least from the bartender to the entire staff was courteous, professional and respectful.“

“It is a good place, they cook good dominican fast food, but they never have anything ready, not even empanadas or croquettes. That most restaurants always have that and ready. As a starter for an appetizer while you wait for the main course…They need to know that whatever you order you have to wait 10 or 20 minutes for your order.

The bad thing is that parking is a little complicated in that area, but they have chairs outside where you can sit and look at your car from the outside.

the prices are a little expensive but it's worth it Delicious. They just need to improve the quality of the employees a little since it's Dominican food place but the employees are not Dominican so you have to specify very well what you want so they don't make mistakes in your order…

My husband and I have eaten empanadas, croquettes, sandwiches, and empanadas, but the best are the bollitos de yuca with cheese, 🧀 (cassava) It has a super rich garlic flavor and is delicious on the palate… they are the best in the city, they remind me of Santo Domingo.🇩🇴“

“I had a great time at 2 chix. Everyone was so nice and friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed or wanted! The wings were amazing! Super crispy and fresh. I had the autumn bliss waffle and I loved it! The punch is really good too. Everything my table had we highly enjoyed. I will be back for the waffles, wings, and punch!“

Amazing, generous portions (look at the size of the chicken), perfectly fried chicken, same for the fries, great and super friendly team, I really enjoyed my first meal in Brooklyn thanks to them ?
Their house sauce (which is actually a sort of spicy cocktail sauce) works particularly well with fries and chicken.

You have brought balm to our hearts!
With better dining comfort I would have given 5 stars for sure ? but for eating on the go it's more than enough ?
