The cake itself was delicious – highly recommend the vanilla with fresh berries and cream. “My opinion is 9.3/10. This is a plov, my first one. Wow was it good the meat was soooo tender. The flavors mixed together so well. Only downside is the rice could be left out making it a little chewy but the meat reintroduced moisture into the rice and was sooooo worth it. “The most creative, beautiful and delicious cakes EVER! You will not be disappointed - I promise! Since discovering JM, I will drive 2 1/2 hours to get a cake for special occasions..I’ve been doing this for 4 years and never disappointed Gorgeous cake designs and exotic fillings - truly appreciated by everyone. Whenever I bring 1 or even 3 cakes (each with a different theme) - the crowd is in awe and the recipients never want to cut it because the cakes are honestly that beautiful and everyone is in awe. “I ordered a tres leche cake everyone loved it even though the name in cake was spelled incorrectly I said Barbara I got BAVARA. My sis still loved it so I was happy. . The only thing I must say the girls that were there are nice but they take a long time to service the customers. I went at 6:15am and had to wait 10 minutes just to get serviced. If they can work on that part great place to go. It smells amazing in there with all the pastries.“

“I ordered my wedding cake from this lovely place. It was a delicious experience to say the least. The staff is friendly and the pastry wizard is just that. I gave her a picture that I wish I could up load and not only did she replicate the exact design but the cake itself literally melted on our mouths. It was so light and fluffy my "husband" couldn't wait a year to eat the top. If you live anywhere in Brooklyn and have need of a baker this place is worth the drive. “OMG The cupcakes are to die for. The frosting is amazing as it is not too sweet. The cupcakes are a perfect size, moist and have the delicious fresh homemade taste. I had the vegan chocolate cupcake and it had a delicious chocolate taste and was not that sweet at all. My daughter said it was the best cupcake she had. It was worth every penny and I can not recommend BKLYN Cake Studio enough for its delicious cupcakes. I definitely want to try the chocolate chip cookies with sea salt next.“

“One of the last, real, Family bakeries in the area! A good variety of all the usual suspects and breads, all baked as expected. They maintain the variety I feel by cutting down on specific quantities of each,- a fair tradeoff, so shop early if you have a specific need. I've lived in the area since mid 90s, and watched too many of this type of shop close at an increasing rate, many bought out by chain bakeries that ship product in from miles away. I hopw this one survives.“

“This bakery has Dominican cakes available in slices or the whole cake. They do custom orders or you can ask them to decorate one of the cakes they have ready on display if you're short on time. I'm Dominican and I'm very picky about Dominican cake and they did a great job. I also tried the dulce de leche cortado and it was so delicious. The prices are very reasonable.“

Being in the shopping plaza sorta detracts from the atmosphere as it is tucked away in the corner. However, nice to be close to target and some other stores.
I like the milkshakes but like a lot of the menu items in general at coldstone.“
