“Amy is so talented! I ordered a cake for my daughter's surprise proposal/engagement party. I ordered a tasting for pickup and received four beautiful mini cakes. All four were so delicious that it was hard to decide. After a few bites of each, my mom and I definitely loved the almond cake. We ordered a two-tier cake with stunning floral decorations. My daughter and her fiancé were so pleased and their guests all commented on how delicious the cake was. Amy was a pleasure to work with. “I ordered my wedding cake from this lovely place. It was a delicious experience to say the least. The staff is friendly and the pastry wizard is just that. I gave her a picture that I wish I could up load and not only did she replicate the exact design but the cake itself literally melted on our mouths. It was so light and fluffy my "husband" couldn't wait a year to eat the top. If you live anywhere in Brooklyn and have need of a baker this place is worth the drive. She showed up right on time, worked seamlessly with our vendor, and delivered a cake that was both delicious and beautifully decorated. Truly couldn’t have asked for better service. I was a bit wary just bc I had to come all the way from West New York to Coney Island and I wasn’t sure it would be worth it (no other bakeries I called knew how, or would make me a Kiev cake), but wow it was so much more beautiful than I anticipated it being. Definitely worth it. My boyfriend genuinely enjoyed the taste as well, and I thought it was delicious (but I also have no other Kiev cakes to compare it to 😅) thanks so much pastry world!!!!“

“One of the last, real, Family bakeries in the area! A good variety of all the usual suspects and breads, all baked as expected. They maintain the variety I feel by cutting down on specific quantities of each,- a fair tradeoff, so shop early if you have a specific need. I've lived in the area since mid 90s, and watched too many of this type of shop close at an increasing rate, many bought out by chain bakeries that ship product in from miles away. I hopw this one survives.“

I ordered a Doblada de pollo. 2 come in the order and was told “made fresh each order” and it tasted amazing! It was so fluffy and filling and also plated beautifully.

“This bakery has Dominican cakes available in slices or the whole cake. They do custom orders or you can ask them to decorate one of the cakes they have ready on display if you're short on time. I'm Dominican and I'm very picky about Dominican cake and they did a great job. I also tried the dulce de leche cortado and it was so delicious. The prices are very reasonable.“

“A small mom and pop shop that always offers great fresh cakes for reasonable prices. I typically get the fresh cream mango cakes, when the mangoes are in season. Very ripe and sweet mangoes. The owner is very helpful and attentive. Just a quality that seems to be lacking in other places these days. I occasionally treat myself to their individual cake slices. The tiramisu slice is very tasty and sweet. The macarons are very nice and great as a treat. I always try and limit myself to three or four. Need to watch the sugar intake. But great as a little treat for myself once in a while. The drinks options are also very solid. I like getting their milk teas. Less than 4 dollars for a tea drink with actual tea. Every birthday and occasion, you can expect me to get a cake from here!“

The only thing I must say the girls that were there are nice but they take a long time to service the customers. I went at 6:15am and had to wait 10 minutes just to get serviced. If they can work on that part great place to go. It smells amazing in there with all the pastries.“
