Came here for a birthday and did the AYCE experience after much debate. I didn’t see the higher level omakases when we were there, but I can’t imagine we missed anything by choosing this level. Everything was incredible and the service is so intuitive and intentional and observant. Would come here again 10/10

Kiwami is one of the best omakase experiences in Brooklyn. The vibe is intimate and comfortable, not stuffy, and the setting is charming and beautiful. Every course feels thoughtful without being over the top. Fresh sushi is super fresh and high quality, with Hokkaido Kegani and Hokkaido Uni standing out sweet, rich and melt in your mouth. The tuna and yellowtail boxes are on promotion for less than $30 and are very reasonable for the location. The chef takes time to prepare each dish properly, and the flavors are rich yet delicate. The pacing is perfect and every bite is a surprise that somehow tops the last. The restaurant sits in one of the most beautiful areas in town, perfect for a relaxing walk before or after a memorable night. It is a great spot for a birthday or anniversary dinner, a special occasion or a great sushi dinner. Highly recommend for omakase lover and worth every penny.
