We only had drinks so can't rate the food. The place has cool tiki like decor & a relaxed vibe with great large window views of the city. The service was excellent. We checked it out because we received a $25 bar credit for staying at the hotel but definitely worth checking out even without that incentive.
Since we were staying at the Moxy we decided to check out the Lillistar for brunch on a Saturday. It's a little weird in that in order to get to the roof (of the Moxy) and the restaurant it's required that you exit the hotel, and take 2 quick rights to get to the elevator which takes you to the roof (although it's the service elevator of the hotel). I frequented here solo the month it first opened. I really came to check out the decor in person and enjoy the rooftop view. Both did not disappoint. Loved the tall ceilings with the ornate fans. The view towards Manhattan was gorgeous. Perfect place to sip on a drink on a summer night. I enjoyed the bumbu margarita which I thought was well crafted.Would return to try out other drinks and for the nights when they host Home & Abroad parties
